STORY, that is, cause I know the Peepers like to sit back and READ :)

I've actually been doing REALLY good and I mean REALLY GOOD too - playing trifectas, that is. The bad news is that a lot (most, if fact) of those good results were ON PAPER :mj16:. The reason for that is the amount you gotta bet is pretty steep even though the $/ticket ... ah.. make that CENTS/ticket is small ($0.50). :s2: Not a good idea at most tracks, but if ya gonna give it try - Philly is the place to do it, FOSURE!

It goes like this -> ya gotta identify the KEY hoss and you gotta construct a list of CONTENDERS that is no more than 5 and depends on the no. of entrees for the race in play. You also have to identify the races (no more than 4/day) to do it.

It's kindofa "system" (UT Oh:violin: x14: :mj10:) I developed. Here's the story for today.... . .

Today's 6th race was iffy asfaras as deciding if this race qualified as a "system playable wace". The CONS were .... . on the turf (not my thing) AND a full field. The Pros were -
the hosses that were entered (I really liked this race) and the matching jockeys that were in it. I checked out the sys. and no. 4 was the key. Now, ya gotta play it like this... 4/the 5 conteders/ALL and the 5 contenders/4/All . Now, all the Peepers know that $40/race (50 cent tickets, of course) AIN'T FOR ME :00x12.

Next, let's see, now, how did I screw this wace up. Well personally, I really liked the no. 7 who was rated 2nd as key and I used that one ON TOP, only for the tries and I played no. 4, the REAL key, to win ($8). "yeah, I'm a real grinder" :).

Sorry Peepers, ya gotta check out the 50 cent tri payoff for this wace if you're interested enough cause I woulda collected if I played it and I can't bear to look at it again.

Tellyas, I had others similar to today's 6th and even some with 4 figure payouts ON PAPER while I was checking this thing out. I did hit several for real with 3 figure payouts (for my 50 cent ticket). Today it would have lost the 4th and 5th races and hit the 8th for $206. The cost for them tickets for the 8th race would have been $32. We already know about the 6th race :0038

Tomorrow is Woodbine for me cause Philly needs to take off as many racing days as they can with the hope that the casino draws the suckers cause the track ain't pullin in a dang thang methinks. Just in case LHF is a Peeper... my advice is to handicap the JOCKEYS, trainers, OWNERS NOT THE HOSSES at that wacetwack. Still, the hosses DO run pretty close to as expected there. And, unlike Philly, that twack gets played like the N.Y. (A, Bel.) twacks I used to play. That is, give an edge to the lower priced runners on bigger $ tickets. Ooops, almost forgot - NO SYS. TRIES FOR WOODBINE. I never checked it out for WB but I'm pretty sure doing it wouldn't work out well at all.

Just gotta add this... . . today was a vry good day and topped it off with the 8th race. I prob. screwed up by stopping after the 8th cause I do like to "head home" (you know, in the "cloud" thingy) right after a decent hit which is what I'm gonna do. My plicks for the 10th would have been the 3 and 5 in the last race which is about to start as I'm writing this stuff.

If there's somebody that has a keyboard on Mon. or Tues.. I think I'll try to post one of the trifecta plays here that I will take a real shot with.

Good luck, y'awl.

Woodbine

Woodbine

Might as well post a play at Woodbine.

First race looks pretty playable and I coming up with the nos. 4 and 9 as WINNERS. I'm gonna play one of them in the trifecta thingy I just wrote so much about above and the other Win and Place @ double the win bet. It depends on the odds and how thems look in pre race to choose which one gets which bet.

My preferred twack is Philly but I gotta mention, for online players that is, how good it is watching the live action at Woodbine vs. Philly. L@@K at how many really good looks you get at the Woodbine horses before they're loaded. Great commentary as well. I appreciate geting a GOOD look at the horses before they go in the starting gate and I'm always feeling like I gotta rush to get the bets in at Philly.

G.L. if there are any hossplayers left around here.

One Woodbine race --> one triFACTa :0

One Woodbine race --> one triFACTa :0

Really surprised that there no. 4 hoss paid so well; I was thinking the win price woulda been around $5 - $6. This twack let's ya play as little as $0.20/ticket on tries; so I went "big time" on the tries.. $.60 jobbies :00x31

Made two good moves for the race - picked the no. 4 as the trifecta key AND skipped the Win/Place on the no. 9 and just used it in the "contenders" part. The whole thang "costed" $16.80. Good enough for me :)

I came home a weiner the last two times (just short of 3 figures ahead last Sunday) I played this wace twack and thinking I should open the wallet much wider at this place... :)scared) like by a factor of 4 or 5 .. EGAD! That used to work in N.Y. but, since I've been in sunny FLA... that turned into a disaster each time I made that bad move. Philly is a much different story.. no need to up the ticket price at that Payoff Palace.

BTW, I usually post how good I'm doing; you know - like most gamblers. I ain't like most gamblers - during the spell when I wasn't around here... I took my $100 bankaroo up to a little over $400, didn't withdrawal anything, raised my bet size about 80%, and after about 2 months.... I got it all the way to ...

Ok, for now I'm gonna enjoy Canada (via cyberspace that is) and rest up from posting my thoughts to myself and see how the day winds up. Next PLAYABLE race is the 5th and I hope I didnt' miss it while I was here.

GOOD to seeya, Hammy

GOOD to seeya, Hammy

Looks like you've been doing pretty good too.

Where has this Woodbine place been all along.... what day? I only played the first race but the full results are something else, see below. I guess you'll be around later but I may wrap it up early if I get ahead enough and the may happen soon.

So far, trifectas have "gone wild" (without me too, cept for the 1st race).... I only played the first race.

race one - we went over that
race two - Weiner (tri) woulda collected over $100 on stinkin 0.60 ticks.
race three - NO PLAY cause sys. could not come up with a KEY hoss
race four - two keys, nos. 3 and 7.. if ya played the 3 you lose, if ya played the 7 you collected over $100.

EDITED: 5th race key was no. 3, looked like a sure Win/Place in mid stretch, got tired and finished 3rd. losing Tri sys. plick for this race. Close but no seegar. Forget the 6th - no data.

Good luck to you, Hammy

The saga continues... . .

The saga continues... . .

Another tip for using the Trifecta 'System" thingy...

ALWAYS keep the Prep. H handy for the ASS BURNERS you will encounter when using this system. I've been making good moves lately and had trouble trying to figure out the first two races (1st and 2nd races) for consideration of using the Tri. Sys on either of those two races. I just gave up and didn't play either of those races. GREAT MOVE !

2nd race: there were 2 keys and the cost of using both in the sys. is prohibitive (ah.. make that "TOO MUCKIN FUTCH $, Peepers). Those two were the no. 3 and the no. 8. Which one would you have picked?
?

I'll answer this one,"and, how would you have done?".
Ans. YOU LOSE :mj16:
And, how bout "if ya picked the other plick (no. 8)?
Ans. RUN to the window with your 50 cent ticket and get dat sack of Philly Bonanza cash immediately if not sooner , :Kid1:THAT'S HOW YOU WOULDA DONE!

Look it up, Peepers.
