one of the mods banned his ass awhile ago for posting a link to his tout site.

now he comes in here, like Mr. Innocent, and tells people that I banned him and he was only "trying to help people win and offer a free database".

All you guys who always have a hard on for touts (and i know there are some real scumbags) sometimes go overboard a bit. If i knew their was a tout that did everything i do to try and win id pay him in a second. Save me a boat load of time. I think most of you got burned one time or another. It happens and it happen to me once and only once. I was about 25 and was in a big hole and loved a game but was gun shy. Somehow i hear this tout talking about this same game. I called it and he had the opposite side and i played his side and lost. Never ever again

You become brilliant and i can do something else for four hours a day. opps before i get ripped to shreads i was not talking about site owners. Just handicappers in general.

as far as i'm concerned you don't need to explain why you banned somebody. it's your place & your rules....which should be enough of a reason.

When you call in, say there are 100 people that call in for the "big play of the day".... they give 50 of the people one side, and 50 of the other people the other side...50 win big, 50 never call back...same thing happens again from those 50...25 win big, 25 lose big, and half of those call again, they keep fine tuning it till they get 10 suckers that always call in and pay the price...

again, my father did this for a year, after that he couldn;t take it anymore and quit, calling in for an expert opinion is like wiping your ass with your own pillow cover

so you father was a scammer,what makes you think thats how everybody runs their bussiness....like sponge said if somebody is a good capper and spends hours on the day researching,capping games and gives you his opinoin how is he scamming you??im sure a high % of these services do what you said,unless your dad worked for all of them how would you know?

I know brewers7 from other forums and I Instant Message him occasionally and he is not a tout.

He sells an NBA database.

Is that a crime?

He had a forum on that site and shut it down. I asked him why and he said the person who owns the site is a friend of his and asked him to. he didn't want to run the forum, but did it for a year as a favor and shut it down.

His only affiliation with the site now that the forum is shut down is that he sells his database there.

If he was a "tout" then why is he posting write-ups and previews for free on oher forums? He told me 18 months ago that he enjoys sharing his knowledge and I believe him anyway, but hey, the world is so jaded nowadays, so maybe people who are jealous of him just look for any way to bring him down because they know they cannot touch him as a NBA handicapper.

Brew told me a few weeks back he got invited to post at seevral private forums in europe and is doing so i guess.

If selling NBA databases makes him a tout, then so be it, that is your defintion, I spose.

But I have heard several people say Brew is the best NBA capper on the internet, so I guess I'll just have to follow him at other forums.

a high % of these guys do what your talking about no doubt..but theirs also the guys out there that actually spend time capping games and give picks that they actually think are going to win..chit,if i had the time i would run a service myself ,and it would be legit.if im hitting 70 % on the year id still run a service and use your money to try and make my millions .no such thing as a lock everybody knows this.paying for info is alright.im not recomending to pay for picks ,im just telling you their are some legit services out there.

Wow, until the moment I read this, I had been tolerant of The Sponge as I assumed that he was just a young hot head. I am now convinced that I need to revert back to my first impression instincts.
