The "best we've got" LMAO! I'll bet you know people yourself who would do a better job than anyone presently running for President.

I know nothing about him, but I'd rather vote for the guy who picks up my garbage. At least he's in touch with reality.

Romney vs Obama, as it was always meant to be.

.......................................................................

Mitt has the only real chance to beat Obama

newt has way too much history that will be brought out that even his intelligent ass will not be able to explain.

Funny thing is Obama does not seem like he even wants it anymore.

Who would. Its a pathetic piece of shit job with no way to make any changes for the good of the American ppl.

you cant tell me that anyone besides maybe Ron Paul could make any kind of noticable differance.

And Ron Paul running as independant will bring the Mittster down.

Maybe Mitt takes Ron Paul as VP

what happened to Rubio ?

Did he ever show his fawking birth certificate ?

that one flamed out :SIB

I'd love to run.

But I don't have a billion dollars.

Or the backing of international bankers.

Or any skeletons in my closet.

And, when I tried to shut down the Fed, reduce the government payroll, bring home the troops, reduce military spending and eliminate Congressional perks, I'd get shot.

Maybe it's a good thing I don't have a billion dollars.

Christie as VP could push Romney over the top. I have a feeling he's lining up to be the guy if Romney is nominated.

Then Romney would do essentially the same thing Obama has done as President - except Fox, talk radio and the republicans in congress will support him instead of calling him a godless socialist muslim.

Perhaps this is a good thing. I am in favor of whatever helps the country as a whole, regardless of the hypocritical means of getting there.

Word. I have seen the same rumblings about Christie. I've always thought Romney would be the nominee unless one of the peripheral candidates like Giuliani or Huckabee went all out and gained initial support. Romney is pretty appealing to moderates as a safe alternative to Obama, and anything to the right of center won't vote for Obama anyway. If there is not an Independent challenge (which I think there will be) and Romney can get someone like Christie to sign on, I think republicans will win the election. There's plenty of time for all kinds of things to happen - plenty of time for one or two new republican candidates to make a real run, but a ticket like Romney/Christie or something like that would probably win if things stay the same or get worse. Romney has withstood the test of time and seems to be a teflon candidate, and to be quite honest as a left leaner would not make me crazy if he won. I will have a tough time voting for Obama in the next election in many ways. We're getting to the kind of time period in our history that we need some tough assholes to face some of the issues our country is facing. I probably won't like a lot of what is done if that happens, but I also don't like what has taken place over the past couple of years.

I am like a lot of people right now, I'm guessing. Which is also scary in many respects...

By the way, I have to give props to SSD for his thread starter paying tribute to the classic film Blazing Saddles and the Oscar-worthy actor Cleavon Little for the quote. That was an outstanding post and analogy to Mr. Cain.

:toast:

P.S. I mean, that was funny as shit... :mj07:

Romney (the Republican John Edwards) is a spineless weasel. But you're right he probably will win. The Bufoon says whatever he thinks the troglodytes want to hear. His National defense tough talk is the biggest joke coming from a Hairball who wouldnt' fight if his life depended on it. His response to Newt's honesty on immigration is classic hypocritical garbage we expect from this guy. John Edwards II for President!

Rick Perry flubbed both the country's voting age and the date of the upcoming presidential election at a speech to a group of college students in Manchester Tuesday.

The Texas governor told students in the audience he'd appreciate their vote if they were turning 21 by Nov. 12.

But the United States' voting age is 18, and voters will weigh in on the presidential election on Nov. 6.

A few members of the audience giggled but Perry did not appear to notice his error.

Cain can take Perry with him

Its over for Cain.....Gingrich is our only hope, Romney is a fraud....Trust me, I'm from Boston...he is known as a flip flopper.....

No, I will not be voting for Obama in 2012. Well, let me qualify that. I'll vote for BO if unemployment drops below 7%, but I doubt that's going to happen. You see, I realize the idiot inherited a horrific economy. It's his job however to lead us out of this and he's failed woefully at that. No, I do not think the republican candidate will do any better as I've heard nothing but idiocy from them. Hopefully a good third party candidate will step forward before election day, otherwise I'm just sitting this one out. To those potential third party candidates with good economic ideas, there are millions of voters who don't like the current options up for grabs.

I hate what I feel about the 2012 election. I feel that Obama will steal this election with the help of Acorn now know as NEW YORK COMMUNITIES FOR CHANGE. Also, he has the help of the DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE. Remember that the D of J did nothing when it was proved that in some counties more people voted than were residents of the county. How can you beat them when dead people vote?

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said he would take military action against Iran if it led to regime change.

..........................................................................

Yeh it would lead to regime change all right . Fucking with Iran is not like fawking with Iraq or Afghanistan. These fawkers will fight and die for years. Israel can kiss their ass goodbye if Iran is attacked.

Then Israel will just nuke them. That will open up a whole new box of cookies for the world to swallow

I am amazed that Syria has not already attacked Israel directly. What does he have to lose.

Seriously just fawk me.

another trillion dollar war monger President.

Thats all we need .........

pity really

Maybe Newt could bring back Rove and Cheney to help him manage the war for 10 years or so.

meanwhile the US goes down the tubes
