exact same car..
oh the fine ladies who rode shotgun..
if I was filthy rich I would pay a large sum of cash to have that same car again..

That looks like the first car I drove as well. Buddy couldn't pass his test (took 5 times) dad got him a VW with a stick. It was my job to drive him around, was always stalling that thing :facepalm:

No clutch, just release the gas and shift :142smilie

Those cars were fun and easy to work on even for a bunch of dopes. I could lay rubber in reverse only. One night I was showing off and ran into a fire hydrant. Big dent in the trunk lid. We drove around that night until we found the same color (white) and stole their trunk lid and put it on mine. Otherwise I would have been in big trouble.

Nice! Is that a Roadrunner? 440 or some shit? My buddy had one of them. We would get in a lot of trouble today if we acted like we did back then :scared

When I was like eight or nine, my dad had a '47 Buick. The steering wheel seemed like it was the size of a hula hoop. I also remember he had a '51 Merc.
