I admit I don't know much of this guy so I watched this clip you posted and all I got from it was someone who trips over his own words .

He comes across as someone who has a hard time expressing himself which leads me to believe he doesn't know what he's talking about.He has a hard time getting his point across.

Also wanted to add this;Why can't you support America's troops without supporting the policy?

Rusty, the point Chomsky was making is that the phrase "Support Our Troops" is an empty, meaningless slogan. This isn't exactly a revelation. Americans have always fallen for the sloganeering of the Defense Dept. That's why they spend $500-$600 million a year on advertising.

I was just giving my take on the video,that's all.
One could argue that Support our troops is NOT an empty slogan.

What really is sad is instead of a subjective response everybody(except Trench) responded like a 2 year old.Yes I get the reason behind the embedding TU.
