There was mutual interest with Stoops but those discussions started immediately after Navy and since it didn't happen by this Wednesday, he turned ND down. All the commotion about him this week was all false. It's likely to be Kelly

and Brent - I was on board with both Willingham and Weis, so it doesn't matter who I want because I'm wrong. It needs to be an offensive minded coach because there's certain guys that ND will never be able to get. I'm worried about Kelly's ability to recruit against Carroll, Stoops, Meyer and Saban and whether he can coach real talent and not just the garbage he's had to coach for the last 8 years.
