We can't let a republican lead this contest all by himself. He'll end up hogging all the points for himself - pushing 80% of the field in the red.
...Come to think of it, that's happening anyway. And as one of the only other people to still be above water, he might give me a tax break and help make me rich.
I've changed my mind - this field needs a leader like Rolltide. He'll be thinking so much about ribs and pre-emptively invading other handicapping contests I could probably swindle some points without anyone noticing.

Yes, now THAT is some progressive thinking. But maybe we should use the system incorporated by your heroes:
Everyone at -5 or worse should only be able to pick from 3 games. We will ridicule them for not making the most of it.
Everyone at +5 or better, should be able to choose from all NFL, NCAA, and CFL games. We should let them take halftime plays as well. Once they reach +10, they can also choose moneylines.
Everyone in the middle should just automatically get -3 every week. F**k em. I mean someone has to finance our jihad against the soccer capping contests in Europe, cricket ones in Bahamas, and camel racing contests elsewhere.

Actually all this is giving me an idea. It would be an interesting format to reward good performance with more opportunity. Perhaps something to consider in the future.
