DID I REALLY JUST HEAR THAT HE HAS 72 TOURNAMENT WINS(MOST OF ALL TIME) IN 30 YEARS OF COACHING????

i dont recall many years where duke didnt get to play 2 games in charlotte/greensboro/winston salem/railegh.....pretty nice advantage
Well known that the NCAA committee spends half their time blowing Coach K and trying to give Duke the easiest path to the elite 8.
He should get credit for that too. :shrug:

There was a great article by a sports writer (They call me Mr. Obvious) detailing CBS's need for high ratings and how Duke fans were a must throughout the tournament to hit the desired rating. Contract agreements = 8 billion or some unreal number for broadcasting the tournie.

Before today, I kept saying Duke is overrated and no way is making it into the championship game... now I think otherwise, if they play as they did today, they are a big contender and can keep it close if now win against any team left.. just my opinion
Duke is overrated. Beating Cal doesnt say much - Cal was 2-8 against the Top 50.
The advantage for Duke is as the #3 seed (which was higher than it should have been) they were giving the most absurdly weak regional in the history of the tournament.
Theymay well get out of Houston, but Ky, WVa, Cuse, KState would all mop the floor with them.

me too... seemed way to easy though... what looks to good to be true usually is... not in this case
