I'm gonna "tote board watch" today.

I'll post a couple minutes before the races go off, just so you guys can have a laugh or two at my expense.

I know nothing about horses, other than the favorites don't win too often, and they pay shit when they do. So, I bet a few bucks on the horses with taller odds that had decent morning lines.

(I look for the hoses that were picked around third in the morning line.)

I like a small field, at a track with a small handle. Seems I get a better crack at a decent "place pool" that way.

I only put a few bucks a race down, but I never get beat up, either! Plus......it really does kill an afternoon!

This track must get little action. The morning line on the current 1/1 favorite was 20/1. My hosre was the third pick in the morning at 5/1

I would expect the odds to shake up quite a bit in the closing minutes.........

No video of this track or Hollywood, so I can't track the pools.

The odds did check back. My horse went off at 3/1, shrinking any value I could have hoped to gain by taking second in this race. The favorie won, also.

I didn't get the bet down in time, but a 2/all quinny in the 4th at Hollywood will pay okay, as long as it's not 2/5.........

Would liked to have gotten in on that.

Did come in 5/2, so I guess I saved .80!

The same $10 to place, would have gotten back 17, so in this case, the quinny was a bad bet.
