All drivers are in a meeting now with Brian Barnhart. Hope that they have good news.

Saw on Twitter that Wheldon is unconscious but vitals are normal.

Watching coverage on ABC now.

Announcers Scott Goodyear and Eddie Cheever both obviously upset with Wheldon's passing but both also said that every time you get into the race car you know that this could happen and it's their choice.

Still very sad.

Seemed like a terrific young man. Hard not to muster a tear when looking at that Photo of Dan and his boy.

Love Indy racing as you guys that know me know, and this really sucks. Have been to 40 Indy 500's and saw him win first in 2005. Angela and kids have been with me, and love it as well. An event like no other, and as 2 time winner, very upsetting. Shed a few tears and didn't even watch football late this afternoon. RIP Dan Wheldon, and Godspeed to your children that will never know you. Peace.
