So all the interviews shown on tv were lies....ok....:0008
Never said that. You know, everybody loves to speculate in all this wild crap, like "the kids were high and smoking pot", "playing radio music", what was going through cop's mind", yet it's apparently physically impossible to think that maybe not every resident saw the fight. Maybe, just maybe the tensions at the party began to escalate due to the fight, thus creating excitement of the general mood of the crowd. Maybe that's what piqued the interest and resultant exasperation of other residents that missed the fight. Not only that, it's on video. It's what happened. At the time the officer arrived there was no crime being committed by the kids. Maybe they were loud and playing music. So what. Investigate the one crime that actually happened but no, the teens have to pay the price for the adults actions.

It was on video Gibber. So yes, let's believe the teens. Especially since that is what happened. Check your facts chief.

There's video of the white people saying racist things?? I have not seen it..And even if there is how do you know this took place first contrary to what the adults witnessed inside the pool area in regards the racial harassment of the security guard

I would like to see the video of racial slurs if you have a link

Gracias

That's bullshit. Flat out bullshit. They had a permit for the music, the party, the dj, they charged an entry fee. Where was all that pot you said they were smoking? None was found? Where was all the alcohol you said was being served to minors? You make this shit up as you go. Fir fucks sake, you just said that all the problems of our society is a generational issue and that it's poetry much a fact? What the fuck is that? Are we the only nation with rebellious youth? Good fucking grief.

Someone can't see the forest for the trees
I don't know who you're referring to, but if it's me I'm sorry you feel that way.

I don't know why people have to find someone to blame other than the only individual they can physically see running around violating the law. I'm fucking stunned how much people need to convince themselves that it couldn't possibly be that one man, a man with a name tag and a badge may have just lost his shit. It's sickening to me. People would rather believe a white person that wasn't even present at onset of trouble, interviewed on Fox news than their own freaking eyes. Not one single person here would tolerate their own daughter being brutally attacked like that. Not a single one of you. You don't get to say that your daughter wouldn't be there either because you don't know that.
Stop blaming everyone else. Quit being dismissive of people simply because they're young. Not every 14 year old that goes to a fucking bbq is a fucking criminal. Christ.

That's the problem we have. Not all the other bullshit. Or society has to have someone to blame and if it can be someone that can't really defend themselves, all the better. If you were referring to me brother, I've seen the forest for a very long time. I've been hanging out here most my life.

Why does everything have to be about race......The police were responding to a call and tried to get it under control quickly based on the info given to them.....when you have 100-150 people in a group shit can happen, you break the group up....You act like these cops were riding around looking to stir shit up, they were responding to one of many calls on the night.

It's a video of a white adult woman fighting with a black adult woman and the teens are trying to break it up. There are several more eyewitnesses that support this series of events that is also backed up with video.

Do you have a video of teens harassing residents? So you only need proof of one side of the story, is that what your telling me? Do you have video evidence of any of the stuff you assert? There is plenty of video showing community residents apparently deputizing themselves and walking around the fracas. Did you see any of them trying to calm the only person in the video you physically saw screaming and running around like a crazy person? Do you think these adults that just couldn't help themselves and had to get right in the middle of everything are going to say that the cop was out of control? The very same residents that called 911 and reported that there were "too many black people at the party?"
Why do you insist that is the kids fault when you have zero evidence to support it other than an interview of white people that didn't even want to be identified rather than you're own eyes?

Yes. Several kids with the exact same story all that were there from the onset compared to two from those that were not. I believe them and if you were a juror and this was a court of law why wouldn't you? You're certainly not one to think that every kid is a liar simply because they're a kid. I don't believe that. I think you know as well as I do that adults are bigger liars than kids.

The problem is the officer responding didn't have all this info at hand.....It's one of many calls on the night, shit happens.....but people always want a pound of flesh when it does.....so this cop resigns and it's still not good enough people want his head and making death threats to people who disagree.....that's not the world I want to live in, sorry....

Who said this??! The teens?? That who we choose to believe. I've see quotes from the adults at the pool that have all stated these kids were jumping the fence in droves... There was drinking, pot smoking and loud music with profanity at a family pool. And when a security guard tried to get a handle on the situation the teens we're regime knows teenagers never lie the ones making racist remarks and harassing him.. But let's believe the teenagers who were drinking and crashed the party cause everyone knows teenagers never lie.. And on top of that a black man living in the neighborhood tells the truth about what really happened and now he is getting death threats.. The world has gone nuts.

So the cops were called and it had nothing to do with race. Now that being said that cop was out of control.. It seems he will pay the price for his ridiculous behavior and he should IMO

It was on video Gibber. So yes, let's believe the teens. Especially since that is what happened. Check your facts chief.

Numerous reports from people at the pool and neighbors saying the party was out of control including rap with f-bombs. What do you not get? The party goers were not at fault? Really?

Who said it was about race? It's about what people WANT to believe. That's it. When you have video evidence of a crime being committed over a statement made by someone that wasn't even there than you have to ask some questions.

Let me ask you this sports. How many people on this very website used a lousy surveillance video of an far less violent crime as evidence, specifically the video supposedly of Michael Brown getting in an altercation in a gas station, as an indictment of his entire life that he was a hardened thug that deserved to die, or was no big loss. Now here we are with a video where the perp can actually be identified committing a crime and it's suddenly not enough? Why does it seem like it's never ever the cop's fault? Do you not see any hypocrisy in that? I just don't get the complete disregard for this.

young people today do not respect authority or adults. period. that is the problem. was the cop out of line? sure, but the bigger issue is youth today having absolutely no respect for authority. I am a lot younger than most of you old guys here and I can say without hesitation that younger people are 100% more disrespectful to elders now than in "your day". it isnt even an argument, it is pretty much fact.

even in schools. students dont respect teachers. why? because they know the teachers cant fucking do anything about it. if you tell a teacher to fuck off, what is going to happen? suspension? detention? wow, terrifying punishments. young people do just not have respect. whether it is not being taught at home or some other reason, that is the issue. that is why these things keep happening. like others have said, and are probably right, it starts at home.

and everyone is always so quick to judge these types of situations. has anyone here been a cop that is weighing in? I would like to hear a response from a cop. everyone always has the game plan of how a cop should act and what they should do but has anyone here been in that situation? teenagers or adults, that cop, from what I saw, was by himself at least in the beginning. if that mob of teens becomes unruly, who is the one with the gun that they can wrestle away? a mob of teens can certainly overpower 1 cop if it came to that. I would think that a cop always has to think of what is the worst possible thing that could happen and react based on that, to not only protect others, but themselves.

you can argue all you want about how the cop acted, but the bottom line is it is a generational issue and it is going to keep happening. disrespectful, confrontational, lack of respect towards authority, these are the issues that need addressing and they start at home. putting body cameras and everything else on every cop in the country isnt going to fix those issues. they start at home.
