I've kept out of the discussion but I have two kids and this is all bs and people using the race card are blind. If my daughter was one of the girls that was told to leave and didn't and then went up and mouthed off to the officer then she would have a lot more to worry about then what the cop did to her. If my son would have been one of the boys that ran then I would have told him he was a dumb ass and you don't run from cops. Should he have pulled a gun, no but IMO that's the worst thing he did and he shouldn't have lost his job. If the girl didn't want a mouth full of dirt then she should have kept it shut and done what he said. Honestly, even if it is about race and that's why that cop behaved that way, it doesn't excuse what some of those kids did. Learn some f'ing respect. It's going to get to the point where when officers are called they're going to have to ask the color of everyone at the scene so they can send the appropriate officers.

Exactly! The cop exasperated the situation but the kids were culpable for creating the situation. Some kids these days have no respect.

You edited the post. :0008

But you won't look at the video Sports posted?
Well I'm using my phone to post and I always fuck up the videos.

Anyway, it's not like I'm refusing to ever watch it. I can't see how they compare to be honest. One is a video of the fight that started it all, the other is a video blog. He doesn't have to watch it if he doesn't want to. I'm pretty confident sports knows I won't be upset.

It always makes me feel better to ignore a problem and blame it on the defenseless too.

I think if my daughter was at the party which there is absolutely nothing wrong with a bbq and a dj and a fight broke out between two adults because one was calling her names and making disgusting remarks and another woman defended her, I'd first be happy she was okay. Then if she told me police arrived and everyone had to disperse, I'd ask what happened after that. If she told me some kids ran and some just left, others got into arguments with some people that were coming out of their homes and saying to go back to your section 8 homes. I'd be pretty pissed at those adults for not being more mature. I know sometimes people like to demean and diminish those they see as lesser human beings because it's so much easier than addressing the real issue.

Hope this helps,

Actually the party was held in a public park that borders the pool.

It always makes me feel better to ignore a problem and blame it on the defenseless too.

It's so easy to come to those conclusions after the fact.....Cops get a call they respond with little info, they have to sort things out in a quick short period of time....You keep making it sound like this is the easiest job in the world to do day in day out.....

exactly. so easy to be a monday morning QB in these situations. same shit every time. people sitting at home on their keyboards who have never been in the situation giving us the playbook on what should happen, step by step.

ridiculous.

still not sure why some just choose to pull the wool over their eyes and refuse to see that their is an issue with todays youth and how they respect authority. not even kids, i would say people under like 30. not sure what the cutoff is but it is crystal clear that one generation is far more disrespectful to authority than the other. and i am not talking about a race issue. I am talking whites, blacks, everyone. one generation is FAR more disrespectful and wants nothing to do with authority and being told what to do.

No I'm not. I'm simply stating the obvious. You know what is really easy? Staying in your squad car and using the P.A. system to disperse the crowds. Follow the laws you're sworn to uphold. You guys act like this guy got thrown over the fence at Alcatraz. He was answering a complaint at a pool party with a bunch of teens! How hard is that to do? Seriously, all this, he had to get control of the situation bs. He's the one that was the situation. That's it. You're allowed to walk down the street without fear of being beaten by a cop

The situation would have been under control if the kids had listen to start with.....pretty damn simple and obvious.....:0008

It's interesting that both sides of this issue feel they are right, it's black & white (pun intended).......

Seems this would be cut and dry with the video in hand for someone to step in and say what's what.....

What's Obama say? Seems to always have an opinion on these issues.....

The Governor? Must be chomping at the bit.....

The Mayor? Probably wants this to go all away in a hurry....

The Police Chief? Caught between a rock and a hard place....

Who has the balls the speak up and say this is the law/rules and lead by example.....

Seems a lot of issue can be solved for situations going forward.....Who's it going to be....

And what exactly do you know about it? More importantly, what do you know about anyone here and what they're capable of or not? So everyone else here is quick to judge, yet you make a blanket judgement of the majority here in one statement?
Maybe your submissive nature and willingness to comply to the ravings of an out of control officer that is clearly violating the civil liberties of several minors, which still have rights in this country, makes you the coward? Complicity to tyranny, and abuse of authority has never been the foundation of our our nation or our social code. By your design, those that speak up, those that don't simply submit to authority, regardless of injustices being inflicted upon them, are the cowards? It seems like you have a very different definition of coward than any other reference I can find.
Then again maybe you just haven't come to the right "conclusion" yet.

Hope this helps,
FDC

Corporal Casebolt had over 2200 hours of training. He had been disciplined before fit walking out of a diversity training class to go bail out his girlfriend for being arrested for DUI.

So it's a good thing the officer is out of the way now....opps, still not good enough....

So how do we handle all the people who are making death threats against people who agree how the situation was handled? Free speech still applies to all of us, correct? How would you handle this FDC?

How about the principle of the high school in Florida who was fired for supporting the officer on his Facebook Page.....Does the principle deserve to be fired FDC?

The pool is a community HOA.

The girl that hosted the party did have a permit. I believe but am not 100% sure that another party was piggybacking her party. I don't know if she, the host, had knowledge of it or not.

Wrong.

The woman who organized the event in McKinney, Texas is named Tatiana Rhodes (or Tatyana Rhodes). DOB 04/02/1995, she is 20-years-old. Most of her social media accounts have now been scrubbed as the publicity expanded and the sunlight upon her endeavors increased.

Tatiana had been promoting a party via twitter under the hashtag name ?Dime Piece Cookout? for approximately a month. She planned the event at a sub-division called ?Craig Ranch? in McKinney Texas.

Tatiana (pictured below left) lives in the sub-division with her mother Lashana Burkes

qy8opk.jpg

The Craig Ranch subdivision has a neighborhood park and a gated pool and clubhouse for residents. The pool and clubhouse is gated and a scan card is needed to gain access.

The subdivision has a Homeowners Association (HOA) which regulates and controls the activities in/around the HOA swimming pool and clubhouse and has strict rules for use thereof. If you wish to have a pool party, it must be limited to 20 people

Neither Tatiana Rhodes nor her mother, LaShana Burks, sought permission to use the pool or clubhouse area as part of the event. However, Tatiana hired a DJ and promoted the event to include a pool party:

In addition to friends of Tatiana Rhodes, more than 100 additional people, mostly teens, showed up as a result of the advertising promoted by Tatiana on social media. They were dropped off by the car-load as the afternoon party began.

According to both Tatyana and her mother Lashana they were unable to control the growing crowd ? who came to their event at the park looking for and expecting a ?pool party?.

That?s when things got out of control as the 100+ teens (and many young adults) turned into a mob of partygoers and began jumping the fence to the gated pool area. Residents within the neighborhood found themselves confronting a mob of teens growing ever increasingly hostile and agitated.
