It would be nice if everyone had the same reaction you did... If let's say a white kid made that same comment. .. but because the kids black it's okay...
Makes no sense
Really?
He said it under his breath. I can't even hear it. He's a kid that was upset over a huge loss and they are asking him to talk about the opposing player and how great the opposing player is. And everybody that is upset is speculating what would have happened if a white kid said the same thing about a black kid. A white kid didn't say it about a black kid so nobody knows what would have happened, it's all speculating. Is the kid he was referring to upset about it? I highly doubt it.
Sounds like a lot of excuses up there
I'm not making excuses and I don't really care. I just can't understand the outrage, that's all.
Anyway, I'm done. :0008
I might be playing Pirates today myself. Good luck.

I think we want all of this BULLSHIT to stop, this story would be the lead story tonight on CBS, NBC and ABC if the kid was white, Al Sharpton would be EXTORTING the school and Barack Obama would be OUTRAGED, same old shit.

What "they're" upset about Jack is that white supremacy and racism are generally Republican ideals. The moniker of racist has been hung on the Republican party over time and deservedly so. Since Obama was elected president, that underlying ideal has been brought to the forefront. The obstructionism and hatred directed at the president by Republicans is racially motivated and everybody knows it, they just don't want to admit it, so they try to deflect. The Republicans know this, yet they also know that being a racist isn't a good thing in today's society. We aren't back in the good old days of republicanism where they could just burn the blacks in their churches. In an effort to portray themselves as anything other than racists they try to make everyone else out as the problem. It all falls back to the Republican mindset that if it isn't the conservative way, it's wrong.
Rather than not be a racist, Republicans would rather prove that everyone is as much of a racist as them, thus making them not a racist. That is why you get all the, "if it was a white guy" bullshit into the conversation. It has to be about race, every issue has to be about race. That's how they deflect the charge of racism. They bring it up and then ask you why everything has to be about race. If you're not talking about a racial issue, they'll make it into a racial issue, all so they can ultimately blame it on that black mother fucker in the white house.
Why do you think that every time a black man is in the news Republicans ultimately bring up President Obama, Holder, and Sharpton? Because they're the only blacks they know and they just happen to be the blacks telling those racist Republicans what to do. That's it in a nutshell. It's very sad but true.
You and I could care less about this issue but it's an opportunity to conservatives and they'll use every one of them to try to convince the world that it's not them that are the problem, it's you for not seeing it their way, the Republican way.
Much like when they sit down the government, bragged about doing it, and then blamed the president for it. Blame it on blackie.
Hope this helps,
