the PM is turned off on the site because of spamming abuse in the past.

request email address from Jack at

jack@madjacksports.com if you want to exchange emails with someone.

Most sites have them and some how survive  it is silly to have to ask for an email address like a two year old child. I never got one span from any of the other sites. Just my opinion of course.

The rating system is stupid. Private messages are not.

Get pinged with a couple hundred SPAM messages. It'd get old very very quick. All the kids play with the new toy on Christmas Day. How many kids are playing with that same toy a week later though? That's how I think PMs would be.

If nobody would use it a week later, what's the harm in having it active?

Because I'm sure Jack would be innundated with Emails (even moreso than he usually is already), by people complaining. The status quo is the right course of action here. There's several other ways to communicate anyway

Forget it Jack, you can't win it is your business and income run it how you see fit to and forget those who always want something changed, you can make whole sale changes and people will still ask for more have a good day.
