It's one of the few on the strip that will still give drink comps for small sports bets. All the Cantor crap or any other sportsbook conglomerates taking over the city have made it suck for the casual sports gambler.

It's not much but you can't beat the location. If you want a nice room to hang out in, find another property. Would I stay there again? Yep. But, I wouldn't take the wife there for a special occasion.

Comps? It depends on your play and you better stay on top of them to rate you properly.

I stayed there a few months back for the first time. I loved it and will definitely look to stay there again. The location is hard to beat being right in the middle of the strip. One of the things I liked most was the ability to be off the elevator and on the strip in about 30 seconds. Some of these other places it seems you're walking for 15 minutes to get to and from Las Vegas Boulevard.

I've always enjoyed the pool there. We've went a few times when we didn't even stay there. There's something to be said about throwing craps in your bathing suit outside in gorgeous weather.

Also, and I may be in the minority here, but I like that the monorail stops there. It's a quick trip to the LVH and their sportsbook.

Yep

Yep

Stayed there for the World Series of Beer Pong a few years ago. I had no issues ... the room was clean and the Steelers promptly won me $100 as I walked in the door. They even threw me 2 drink vouchers when placing the bet. I'd do it again.

I just stayed there for a night on a last minute booking two weekends ago. Walked in on a saturday night close to midnight, had a room reserved at a discounted rate, tipped the guy at the desk a little something and he upgraded us to one of their nice renovated rooms with a strip view. I didn't spend too much time in the casino, mostly just the sportsbook (which I'd rate as below average compared to most on the strip), but my buddy I was who spent most of his time on the gambling floor really liked the place. As Jack said, you can't beat the value for the location on the strip. This is the kind of place I book for a central location at a good rate for the strip when I don't plan on spending much time in my room.
Oh, and the Poker room....filled with a lot of easy $$$. I've won more in that poker room in all my trips to vegas combined than any other on the strip. :0074
