I don't raise chickens although with all the bullshit conditions they are raised in, it would be a good idea.
BTW, just in case your next thread covers this...I also don't need blue pills to make my dick hard...

I would like to have a few but you can't raise them inside Borough limits because they are "farm animals". I don't think PaSprint is keen on having a pen out at work but I'm sure I could if I wanted to- but then that would require me to run out there on the weekends and That's Not Happenin"!:mj07:

I'm getting ready to have my own coop within the next 3 or so months. I know, virtually, nothing about them but it's one more step toward self-sufficiency.

We have 2 right now we just took from our neighbor last night. It's all he had left of the 12 he bought about 8 months ago. Hawks are getting them. I have been helping him take care of them but as free range it is a tough world. My Shepard got 1, and the hawks got 9. All 9 in about a weeks time including the big ass rooster. I am taking the 2 and getting 4 more.

Started building this tractor today! Won't be exact as I'm not buying anything just recycling junk so we shall see. I will post pics when I'm done.

The frame is together and painted. Watching a little of the Players and then going back out to do the house part.

I am way better with a golf club than I am with a hammer!

Box is done. Ramp is on. Perch is on.

Have to paint this part tomorrow then put the roof on. After that it's the chicken wire and I'm thinking that will be tougher than advertised. :shrug:

Looks good! Did you know those sell for about $250 down here? If coaching fails, you always have a fallback!

PS Did you have a set of plans or did you wing it?
