Started running parlay cards for my little league coach for 30 cents on the dollar freshman year of high school. Whatever commission I earned went right back into my own wagers.
Never placed a bet until I was 30, never saw the inside of a casino until I was 35. Started playing when it became easily accessible on-line.
ran a sheet, senior year in high school, straight up winners only in NFL, NO SPREADS, I cleaned up, that was 1971 :0074
8-10 or so. It all started with football pools and trips to the track with my late father. He gave me $20 to start each time and ran my bets up to the window for me. In one of my first ever trips to the races I hit a $300 exacta and became intantly hooked
