I broke a hundred at a Crapmart a few years back at 9am.
They called a manager as the starting cash amount they trust their clerks with at that time was $70.00
Took them 10 minutes to dig up some more cash.....

Outside of Las Vegas, $100 bills aren't used much in retail for sure.
