How were your tomatoes this year?

I hated them as a youngster, but grew to like them as a late teen.

Like Jack......I love them on a toasted sandwich with Miracle Whip! Boy Howdy!!

No way I could eat them on regular bread, though. To me....that would taste gross.

fry yourself a pack of bacon and then fry sliced tomatoes coated with flour in the bacon grease. i know not the healthiest of meals but a couple times a year yummmmmm.

and NOT the green ones, use good red ones

it looks like a sloppy bunch of chit but tastes great!

then some fresh sweet corn on the cob.

Our tomatoes came out much like the rest of our garden---worthless. The drought was terrible here. Nothing grew worth a shyte. There are acres of burnt corn in the county. Just a waste...
