Hawkeye,

I would think with all the good folks you know that you can get ahold of a school or business version of Office 2010

to my knowledge you cannot transfer OFFICE from 1 to another..

when we get new computers ..ie a new laptop last Christmas..we had to get the Office version from the college to put on my wife's new computer..

Old School is correct that you can not just move it from one computer to the other via thumb drive or burning on to a disc. When it was installed it wrote different registry items that allow it to work on the computer it was installed on. Just copy/pasting on to a new computer would not allow it to work.

If you have the original installation discs you can install it on the new computer because you do own the software. If you don't have the disks but you feel like you purchased the software in a legit manner, then it Wouldn't hurt to check with Microsoft on what you are supposed to do when you get a new computer but weren't given the discs. I'm sure that's a question they have been asked before.

If you find out a solution let me know.

Costco has a good selection of computers

Tax time has kept me off the field more than I like but I have worked in a few games.

I've worked five college games and one 7-8 year old coach pitch game. :0003 :0003 :0003

As soon as we get past the 15th I'll be out at the fields more. I'm waiting to hear back from my Alabama buddy to make sure we are on for the Bama Bash this year. Will be seeing Betone on the trip and that can only mean :toast: :toast: :toast:

Hope things are good with you Kev and will get together with you and the Mrs. soon.
