Saint - I am looking at the packages now to offer my employees as well.
I want to put a set contribution per employee towards HSA plan. If you are single, and your premium is lower than this then the addition would go in your savings account.
I don't know the legality of this, though, and will be talking to the professionals later this week.
That's how a few of my colleagues have it set up. It's either a set contribution, or if they opt out because a spouse has coverage then it's added income. That was it's fair/consistent across the board for employees.
