On the course!
Sponge, I never said I'd stop calling a dope a dope. I just said, people shouldn't let those petty spats stop them from meeting someone.

I'd enjoy a chance at straightening you out. (All you closet homos......don't read into that remark.)

I don't get the correlation to the war, though. I mean, if you want to actually say, "Hey guys......I've noticed that in the NBA ref "X" is always doing this and THIS happens as a result", well, maybe you would swing some votes your way.

You can't just say, "This shit is fixed", and when a guy gets busted say, "I told you guys I know my shit!"

I don't read your stuff, so maybe you have actually posted where this guy or that guy is crooked because of _________? If you have, I am sorry. If not, I think you have more work to do.

Fair enough i think. No more work to do because i have done that. I can do it 500 more times but still people wouldn't believe me. As for your dope comment so be it. It isn't the first time with this subject i was called that. On second thought that might be the nicest thing i was ever called, when talking about this subject.

Again........WHAT are you going to do 500 more times?

What can you show me that will get me to say, "Holy shit!.......That's some good stuff to have handy, Sponge."

I miss the good ol' days of MadJacks.

Days before threads would get hijacked into middle-school pissing matches by attention whores like The Judge, Sponge, and the rest.

Saint let me try to do this as nicely as i possibly can. You and i basically buried the hatchet. Do i high jack thread sometimes yes. I think we all do sometimes and me maybe a little more than others. I do it most times to point out a hypocrite, which will always turn a thread around. Your assertion of me being an attention whore is absolutely wrong. This subject has always been a sore spot between the two of us (games being fix). If you notice it was "the Sponge" that was the headline when the supposedly contest was being talked about. I changed the thread to something different. That is not something an attention whore would do. Again i will say this in another way. Talking about games being rigged benefits me as much as cavities benefit your patients.

yyz on the NBA boards before the season ended i mapped out what would happen in the Eastern conference before the playoffs started. I said what teams would win and lose so Cleveland would get the easy road through the playoffs. It happen just like i said it would. Then i pointed out which players woulds all the sudden forget how to play so basically the Cavs would make it to the finals. The two guys i said would forget how to play had terrific first round series. Then they both played terrible just like i said they would. Both are terrific players. Both to me are crooks for the league. That is what i was talking about. I said it and it happen just like i said it would all before it started. Obviously you didn't read any of this no big deal I don't read every thread either. There is only three ways on what i said on how this could possible happen . Either i have ESP(which i don't), the best handicapper in the world(which im not), or i can smell out a scam. It was the third one.

I love this site! It's like a version of an all-male soap opera. I have to admit, I'm somewhat addicted. Just got back from vacation, nice to catch up on all the mud-slinging.

I think anyone with eyes can see that the NBA has had funny business going on for years. I always felt that way, but seeing the multitude of phantom fouls called on Wade's behalf two years ago cemented it. I still bet it, just small amounts. The problem is that if the game is close in the last two minutes the refs can dictate the outcome either way. I don't like those odds, since they virtually control the outcome unless it's a blowout. They couldn't do anything in the finals this year because the talent differential was just too huge...

Sweetheart, to me this is stunning that a woman who dabbles in handicapping has the ability to notices this but guys who have been handicapping for several years have no clue what is right in front of their face. Tomorrow you are gonna see that phony piece of shit David Stern act like this is somehow unbelievable that this could possible happen. Go look at the You Tube draft of 86 and see how great an honest guy this phony clown is. Look at the first envelope he grabs with the bent corner so the Knicks get the rights to draft Ewing. He might have his crocodile tears running big time tomorrow as he sits there lying right through his teeth.

Hi Spongy -

I'll ignore the "sweetheart" comment and assume you meant no disrepect with that. I'm an ex-collegiate athlete (2 sports) who has been betting on sports since I was old enough to traipse over to Nevada in the good old days with my brothers. I've seen you reference the youtube clip several times. You may be right, I don't know, I haven't investigated it. Would I be surprised? No. That's why I don't bet much on the NBA - way too much ability for the refs to influence the game.

Yes, I see what you are referring to. I watched it several times. I don't think definitively proves anything, but it could be construed as suspicious. In the NBA, anything is possible.
