whenever New Years day falls on a Sunday, the TV schedule is already full of NFL games, so they have to make the Holiday on Monday, just like the government does

last time i can GIVE you the example for is 1982 for the Hawkeye Rosebowl played on the 2nd, but there has to have been at least one in between then and now....LOL

it's all about the TV stations you know....

To make it worse, no games tonight. I'd much rather be sitting watching a bowl with some big coin down than watching a useless NFL game. Poor decision on both parts of backing down to the NFL.

hmmm....that isn't right either, cuz 2 leap years could fall in a 7 year span, but since i'm fixin' to get outta the house right now, no time to figure out for sure how it works.... just remember the 1982 thing since i was there.....LOL)
