So, I have had an issue with my furnace not being able to keep the house cool enough during the summer here in Indiana, no suprise it has been hot.
I talked to a couple people who thought maybe my freon was low in the unit outside.
Well I had the service guy over today, and he did some cleaning of the coil inside which he said was pretty dirty, and then he asked how often I change my filter. I said about 90 days, whcih is probably more like 120 days. Kind of like 3,000 miles for an oil change is how I treated it. He told me I should change it monthly.
My othe rproblem is my unit (Bryant) has a wierd size of filter that I can't find in stroe, so I have had to order off the net before. Just wanted some opinions on Air Filters if there is certain ones that do a better job.
My Filter size is:13 X 21 1/2 X1
iI also have an electronic Honeywell thermostat, my house is only 8 years old and is about 1700 sq ft, I would like to keep this place a little cooler, suggestions anyone?
