Glenn Quagmire-I couldn't agree more than with your post about every week the vanquished still don't believe in the Seahawks. That's destined to be the theme of their first Super Bowl Champoinship, which is coming in 8 days. The Seahawk defense is better than Pittsburgs, and their offense is at least as good. They will sack rothlisberger into submission and mistakes,he'll turn back into a 23 yr old again. There are also some intangibles that I think favor Seattle regarding Pitts offensive success the past 6 weeks. The pinnacle pulse guy sayes virtually none of their $100,000 limit players are in on the Pittsburg landslide of money pouring in so far,and he opines the professionals he calls sharps who play at pinnacle will be likely jumping in on Seattle plus whatever its been bloated up to in the last day or so before the game.I'm taking the points.

Like we are going to get the truth from someone working for a sportsbook.............Do you really think if these so called 100,000 limit players were really all on Pittsburgh he would tell all of us this info........just so he could get a lot more on Pitt then have to move the line even higher and take a chance of a major middle..........I dont believe any of this...........

Agreed. I could have gotten the Hawks at +4.5 a few days ago but I waited and it's now down to +4. However, the payout is now -105 when it was -115 with the 4.5. I'm still thinking about waiting a while because I really think there will be a lot more Pitt money coming in. I also want to wait a bit to see if the Seattle moneyline goes up, which I think it will. Good luck to you!

from what i see it's about 58-42 on pit. that's significant, but it's not one-sided.

Although Gannon did get knocked out.........he was in for the first and a lot of the second quarter and the Raiders could'nt do squat when he was in there.........in fact I remember the Raiders getting the ball at the 50 a couple of times early in the game and they could'nt even get a first down to the 40.........Ravens dominated that game even early when Gannon was healthy.....

the reason oak lost to the ravens came down to about 3 plays..... :cursin:

1. 3rd down, inside the 5. dilfer completes a 95 yd pass to sharpe for a td. LB went for the int and missed and the next dumbass missed a tackle.

2. randy jordan dropped a td on 3rd down - ball hit him in the stomach. the score should have been 10-7 at that point but all oak got was 3. i really was hot with gruden here because i wanted to go for it on 4th.

3. ander rison called for pass interference when he caught a td pass.

4. gruden was just stubborn, he tried to run against that front 1 and 2nd down, thus putting gannon in constant 3rd and long. bobby hoying played well in gannon's abscence.

by teh way f'k siragusa, ba$tard

In the AFC Championship game, the Ravens totally manhandled the Oakland Raiders, holding them to just 24 yards rushing and three points.

24 yards rushing is getting your ass handed to you.........even with Gannon out they still should have been able to run the ball better especially at home.............

So Cal
In the Playoff"s Pittsburg has played lights out in the first half.
They've been protecting the lead in the second half.
Led each game wire to wire .
Playing with a lead is different then playing from behind.
I don't have much faith in B.Cowher under pressure.
I don't think they will be playing with the lead the whole game

Pitt Off. is fairly simple run the ball to open up the play action
Seattle D is playing with confidence & has played well the entire season. Looks to be preety much even to me.

Seattle Off is pretty good but will they be able to pick up the blitz?
If they can adjust to the blitz then they can win the game.
IMO Seattle has the best OL in the NFL!
If they can pick up the blitz WR's will be open. They have a really good group of WR's .

Pittsburg D is great only when they are able to blitz and be aggressive

I think it will be a close game ,taking the points is the way to go.

X-FACTOR :M.Holmgren better big game Coach!

Good Luck!!

Nobody has had much luck yet stopping Pittsburgh from being aggressive. I also think that will be the key. You can't let any pro quarterback stand all day in the pocket. Eventually receivers get open. The Redskins made that mistake against Seattle. . . no pass rush. They thought they would be able to cover the receivers and force Hasselbeck into making bad decisions. He made a couple, but made more good ones to win the game.

I think Pittsburgh will do the same things they've done to get this far - open up their passing game, and fly all over the place on defense. It's worked well so far.

Hasselbeck hasn't felt much pressure in the post-season. I think that all changes on Sunday night.
We shall see.

GLTA.

There's not a better QB in the NFC......Hass and the O line can deal with the blitz package that will be throw at him. I'ts not like they don't know what to expect.

Manning and Plummer could'nt deal with it...........and they both had better olines and are both better QB's than Hass.........

Manning almost beat your Steelers even after they spotted them a huge lead......and Plummer, he can't beat anyone in a big game. Seahawks offensive line is the best in the NFL bar none.........you'll see very soon why Alexander rushed for over 1800 yards and scored as many TD's as he did.

"There's not a better QB in the NFC"........I stand by that statement. Hass can deal with pressure far better than Manning or Plummer. First it was the Washington defense that was gonna get him....then it was Carolina........and now it's gonna be Pittsburgh.

I believe it when it happens.........so far I haven't seen it.

Seat won't see Alexander get many yards, he'll be tackeled at the line of scrimmage most of the game. Seat as a team will likely not see hundred yards total rushing all day. That will make them ONE DEMENTIONAL and the Steeler's D will tee off all night long!!! I hope that Seat stacks the box on the steelers, because it will be a long day for them. Seat won't be able to stop the pass. Wash had no offence and Car only had one receiver to stop and a fourth string running back, come on that is a joke. Steelers have tooooooooo many weapons on offense. Ward, Randel El, Wilison, Miller, spells a long day for Seat D and believe me Then you have FAST Willie and the BUS, pick your poison, Seat will be not be able to stop both the run and the pass. Say good night Irene. :s4:

It's ok to start something.........these two don't have a clue. Fast Willie will be shut down and who worries about the Bus and his six carries a game unless Pittsburgh gets inside the five yard line. Homer ?? Of course I am. That doesn't change the facts though.
I'm sorry that you don't have the luxury. The only QB that could have exploited Seattles weakness is home thanks to Pittsburgh. I didn't think Seattle had a chance of winning the SB until the Steelers beat Indy..........woo hoo !!!! Pittsburgh doesn't stand a chance against Seattle. Seattle isn't worried about the Pittsburgh running game...the only weapon that you have is a 23 year kid playing in the biggest game of his life.......LOL.

Good Luck !!!!

. . . and you have a 30 year old bald-headed kid playing in the biggest game of his life.

Now, where's the edge?

I think I know where you'll be putting your money.....as for me, I'll take the veteran in this game. Pro Bowl QB...Pro Bowl RB...Pro Bowl FB.....Pro Bowl OL.....Pro Bowl Kicker.....Pro Bowl MLB (Rookie) and the team with the most Super Bowl experience.

The edge ? .....that's easy and a no brainer !!
