How ironic would it be if that video was AI?
It's an insane dilemma right now. The data centers are an absolute scourge on our society. But... we almost CAN'T let China get far ahead of us in AI. And there's no way they're going to pause what they're doing. If we had competent leadership right now, MAYBE a deal could be negotiated. But the current guy in the White House can't even spell "AI."
And while Bernie says governments will need to step in, he also knows Congress won't do anything because too many of them are already deep in the pockets of Big Tech.
We truly are a stupid species.
