Dr. Ryan Stone:

Gravity is an answer to what film can be all about. It charts a journey for a character, while presenting it in a most spectacular fashion. The amount of work that must have went into carefully crafting every aspect of this film, from the story to the tiniest visual detail that rears its head, is practically implausible for me to think about. This is a film that took years to develop, film, and release, but is such a triumph in almost every way that the wait was most definitely worth it. Every now and then there will be a film that I greatly anticipate for reasons beyond just expectation of an entertaining experience. Gravity more than met that level of expectation.

The wife and I viewed it tonight on IMAX 3D. The Cinematography was excellent and kept us on the edge of our seats. Very well done. Worth checking out but would be much better on the IMAX or XD.

I really hope I this is still showing when I get back to the States. Or maybe through some miracle it will not be dubbed here. I have read that it is even better 3D than Avatar. Cuaron is a frickin genius filmmaker.

Saw it XD 3-D. Edge of my seat for 91 mins. Just amazing cinematography. Will win every award. Bullock wins an oscar for it too. For a 91 min movie to be carried by 2 actors...9.5 out of a 10.

"the bunker"
saw a small snippet...apparently it`s mandatory for female astronauts to travel through space in their underwear(and sandra bullock is a fairly buff little minx)....

so it has that going for it....

6.9 outta 10 for kickserv.

Movie was way over-hyped I didn't think it was that good.

Some of the scenarios in the film were laughable, like when Ryan Stone jumps out of the module and uses a fire extinguisher to get into the craft to make her re-entry to earth:mj07:

Yet you find all that reality crap so believable.

It is the most impressive visual spectacle since Avatar. It is a brilliant film that I think has an excellent chance of upsetting Slave tonight. I still think Out of the Furnace was the best film of the year though.

6.9 :142smilie

Just plain donkey talk, kick.

6.9 is a solid rating......it wasn't a bad movie, it was ok, just way over-hyped. I was not that impressed.

Some of the scenarios in that movie were laughable, just laughable they were so unbelievable:mj07:
