Good luck the 29th Lawrence. I know being in the Medical Sales Field that anything can happen between now and then. Keep them inundated with emails, 3,6,9,12 month business plans in the new territory, etc. ASSUME nothing is yours yet until docs at your doorstep. Again, KARMA.
You are the man for the job and make them know it and pursue you. Give them reason to do that every other day. Stay in their face.
You know in sales that dynamics change the minute of your last contact, or call, or meeting leaving the hospital, because someone else is walking in the front door to disrupt what conversations you just had and turn them in their favor.

flew to Dallas today and met with the regional manager for the company I'm applying to....
went GREAT..
we met for 45 min...and he said "I need to cut this short, I've seen all I need to see, I will talk to the dm and you will be receiving and offer"
so, I should receive and 'offer'...which means $$$....and if agreeable, will start onboarding...
WHEW....big weight lifted..possibly going into 2011 with NO job....esp. insurance..
