No, not what you are thinking but I had to pass this along.
As some of you know my dad has been battling cancer for a few years now and the guy is doing great. My mom is a trooper through this all too. Both are lifelong Packer Fans and I just love going to the games with both of them.
Well obviously they didn't know anything about my Superbowl hat bet. (I still think I'll get paid on by the way. I'll continue to stick up for Blast as you never know whats going on with people.) ANYWAY, they came down for a visit tonight. And they brought something with them for me. Now the medical bills have really been pouring in and money is tight for them. So I kind of yelled at them for bringing me something.
You guessed it. The same Packer Superbowl hat that I asked Blast to send me a few months ago for our Superbowl bet (that I still think he'll pay). I laughed out loud and told them all about the goings on at madjacks.com.
I learned that I have a lot to learn about being a good parent and most importantly no matter how old you are you still need your parents.
They don't have much but still manage to provide me what I need. Most importantly unconditional love and secondly hats.
I guess things all equal out in the end. I got my hat after all.
I love my parents more and more every day. Thanks dad!
One last note. My dad has forgotten more about gambling than I'll ever know. He was pretty upset about me getting stiffed.
