...........getting hurt last week.

I'll tell you what. That bothers me a lot.

If I were the Steelers, my game plan would be to knock his ass out as fast as we could in the Bowl. Take that 15 yard penalty, and cave his head in.

The whole world saw what happened last week, and it wasn't a fluke. It happened earlier in the year, as well. The guy had a sort of reputaion as being a marshmellow early on, and it seems to be accurate.

I would not be shocked to see this kid have a very short career.

I would strongly advise against any "over" props involving Rodgers in this game. In my book, his stock has dropped significantly since the hits he took last week. I sure hope I am way off base, but I won't take any chances with him.

Damn shame, too. Get this far, and be a question mark as far as your ability to finish the game goes?

I might have some under wagers with his name on them, but no overs in sight.

Easy.......don't shoot out your tampon!

Did Aaron Rodgers or did he NOT have a knock as being a "glass jaw" type of player when he fiirst started in the league?

(That answer is, "yes".)

He has stood up to that criticism quite well, but he HAS had three concussions this year.

(Don't tell me he didn't get one this last game, because I will call you a liar.)

Q: How well did he perform after that noggin' knockin'?

A: Not too fuckin'!

And it wasn't because of the Bears defense. He was throwing unhurried passes to wide open guys 7 yards away, and hitting the ground!

Do I WANT Pittsburgh to hurt him? Of course not! But, it would certainly make sense from a game plan perspective.

I would not doubt for a minute if Chicago didn't tell their boys to "get that boy outta there", as that game wore on.

Bottom line: If I'm the Steelers......I don't want 100% Rodgers picking us apart.

Idk how you can sit here and say Matt Flynn is better then Charlie Batch or Byron Leftwich. Sorry but I don't buy into that one bit. The kid has started one game in the NFL in his career and prior to this season had only attempted 17 passes in the NFL...where as the other two guys for the Steelers have both attempted over 1,500 each..so how could you honestly say you would rather have Flynn in the SuperBowl over those 2 guys...I'm really confused . Sorry but Flynn wouldn't get it done facing either one of those guys.

First of all who gives a rats ass if he had a rep of being a glass jaw....How may games has he missed in 3 years??? UM ONE... Of course he DID NOT have a concussion this last game...Call me a liar im ok with that...With the strict policy they have on concussions how days if he had one he would have been out. Your comment about it making sense about a gameplan to try and get Rodgers out of there is the stupidest comment i ever heard.....You could say that about ANY great QB in any game ever played.....So with your thinking why wouldnt GB take out Benny then???? DA....think before u make an idiotic statement. Why would u think Batch would be better than Flynn??? he is like 65 years old and last time i looked Gb has just as good a D as Pitt and they would chase Mr.batch down and beat his ass.....leftwich?? really...he cant even start for Jax...How sad is that.

It seems like once a year theres a person who is just right about everything. And if a good point is made he responds to it by making 3rd grade comebacks like "That's the most idiotic statement" or "how dumb are you" instead of backing up arguements to prove his point. I think we've found the winner this year...

poopeater8888, im sure your a cool guy, but give it a break. everyone on here wants too help eachother win, not read constant nonesense. you make it so stressful to even check threads due to the fact that you may have posted a response. you and dr. rays i believe are both under the impression that being stupid makes your dick bigger.

ah, who am i kidding, its entertaining. Carry on :0corn

I'm going to sit here and explain to you in a way that even someone who uses hooked on phonics would be able to understand...hopefully this will help you out :0074
1st...
Batch has been in the league for 13 years and Flynn has only been in the league for 3 years. As I stated earlier Batch has attempted over 1,500 passes in the NFL...Flynn only 17 going into this season...after this season he has 83 and thats only because Rodgers got hurt. I understand Batch isn't a starter...but he once was and he has came in and proven himself and stepped up when the Steelers needed him too. He has won games for the Steelers...pretty important games...Flynn hasn't done shit to prove himself in this league yet. I would take the experience of Charlie Batch over Matt Flynn anyday. Matt Flynn probably won't even be in the NFL for 13 years.
2nd...
Batch is 36 years old..not 65. Wasn't Favre 36 when he still played for the Packers...? I think so...so what's your point you're trying to make? I'm sure you were all over Favre's nuts when he was in Green Bay in 2007 and 36 at that time. Batch isn't Favre and I'm sure everyone on this site knows that Batch doesn't even compare to Favre...but there have been plenty of QB's who have played in their late 30's and that includes solid backups.
3rd...
I never said anything about the Packers D...they have a great defense and they are very talented. But your statement about chasing dowvn Batch and beating his ass...? Your setting yourself up to make yourself look like an even bigger idiot...ya I'm sure..actually I know Batch would struggle..but Flynn would struggle even more going up against Pitt's defense...sorry to say that but it's true. You act like Flynn is so damn invisible or something and has proven himself in the NFL and is as fast as Vick...Pitt would destroy Flynn. I'm getting the sense that you have a picture of Flynn on your nightstand along with some lube:142hump: .
4th...
Leftwich has at least started and played in bigger games in the NFL then Flynn has ever in his career. Flynn wouldn't start for the Jags either...are you now saying Flynn could start over Garrard..I'm guessing your saying that because Garrard's in his 30's as well which means he's 60 and isn't good anymore . What's sad is someone like yourself coming in here and getting all butt hurt over threads because they aren't exactly what he or she wants to see.
Have a good day :0008

You can never have an objective conversation with Packer fans about their team and their players. It just does not happen..

YYZ is correct.. The Steelers should come after Rogers and hit em and hit em again.. I know that is every team's game plan but we do not know how well Rodgers will respond.. Rodgers is a good QB IMO but he looks good against weak teams. Against good defenses he looks a little above average. Not his fault he has not faced many above average defenses but the fact remains that in close games the Pack have a terrible win percentage.. Not a knock on Rodgers but just the way it is.

The Pack winning three road games in a row is great but Philly and Atlanta are very soft defenses.. If it wasn't for playing a slighlty above average Bears team last week the Pack don't stand a chance. The Bears offense is just anemic and the Pack's D bailed them out against Philly and the Bears. The BEARS.. Call me a homer but compared to last year's NFC's championship the last one was a bit watered down.

so once again, green bay doesn't have a shot to win the super bowl because Rodgers is a marshmellow? i may need to rethink my pick... :popcorn2

Can't imagine being a Viking fan. Four Superbowl Losses. Five Conference Championship losses. Get sooo close last year with using Packers QB and team is getting older. Gotta be tough.:popcorn2

Very Tough.... I do not base my opinions on Packer players based on my loyalty to the Vikings.. I use my head..

IMO.. Last year's NFC championship had 2 better teams than this year's.. Easily would take the Saints and Vikes over this year's Bears / Packers.. But last year doesn't matter in this equation. :0074

BP,

Agreed there. Would like to see how good Packers would have been with Ryan Grant, Jermichael Finley, Nick Barnett, Underwood, Chiller, to name a few...

Not only starters, but quality starters. Which then takes backups whom normally would be playing special teams of those squads...

Then we would have a different story. This Packer team is young, if Rodgers stays healthy, your Vikes are going to be looking up for some time...

completley agree. think packers are on their way to a nice run of success. Rodgers obviously has all the skills and neccisities to be a franchise guy, and buttloads of young talent on both sides. they gonna be good

I agree. Told Packer buddies that Vikes blew their shot last year. Predicted GB to super bowl this year and think they maybe building a dynasty,

Vikes won't just be looking up at GB but also Detroit pretty soon. If Stafford can Stay healthy and they add a few players, watch out.
