--depending what area you live in--to get those Obama stickers off your cars--before they try and run this this through--it will be the straw that broke the camels back.

March 18 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama may try to push through Congress a health-care overhaul, energy proposals and tax increases by using a partisan tactic that would thwart Republican efforts to block the measures.
The administration and congressional Democrats are debating whether to use a parliamentary procedure called reconciliation to advance some of the biggest items on the president?s agenda. The move would allow Democrats to approve plans to raise taxes by $1 trillion, create a cap-and-trade system to rein in greenhouse-gas emissions, and overhaul health care without a single Republican vote.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++

--In a perfect world--everyone that voted should be forced to put "I voted for Obama" sign in their front yard and sticker on car--and live with conequences of what is coming--

Interesting event today--congress can tax anyone as much as they want--up to 100%

believe the constitution was written explicitedly to prevent that?

quote of day--

"We want our money back now for the taxpayers," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.
You think businesses aren't thinging about Dems and their windfall profit taxs promise?

They just started and have put the largest tax burden in history on the tax payor and the carbon/healthcare biggies to be announced yet.

--back to todays 1st ever event--wonder how many businesses are thinking about windfall profit tax dems promised--as it appears this admin can/will tax anyone any amount they want.

Lets see we have businesses knowing this-plus knowing carbon tax is coming-and fact that this admin will dictate more wage increases--don't think I'd be expanding too much in the future. Not much anyone in business has to look forward to except going into survival mode.

Wonder where these tax revenues are going to come from-with debt already quadrupled and been only 60 days and biggies to come?

If your a tax payor you better get in defense mode-- unless your Scott or part of the base--sit back and enjoy at tax payors expense :)

--one might want to read -pulling another trillion out of thin air-on yesterdays new borrowing venture(the latest new trillion added to debt)--
http://www.iht.com/articles/2009/03/18/business/fed.php

and ask yourself this question--why would we borrow 300 billion to buy our own treasuries--when the interest will cost us more than we receive--the probable answer is just a bit :mj08:

Scott--lets leave politics aside and look at absolutes not speculation in economics.

If you wanted to to look for the best way possible to stoke inflation and devalue the $--it would be printing money to buy back your own debt.

So you can tack inflationary prices in your family budget in years to follow.

Also the carbon credit fiasco will with no uncertainty increase your utilties 50% minimum-as well as increase cost of everything shipped via and transportation using fuel--anything manufactured- as they will have to pass on thier increase in cost. So add that to your family budget.

So there are just a few non tax items that will effect everyone--not just your billionaires

Really what another trillion dollars going to do?

He is running two wars, Wayne and has a financial system crisis. That kinda stuff used to mean something to you.

Try adding a 911 and katruina to scenerio--when you were using the drunken sailor routine.
--and one war was handed to him after it was won--despite his/liberals efforts to throw in the towel.

My prob Bobby is financial crisis has been chief priority--yet they have 18 vacant spots in treasury not filled--and Geithner and Gumby still have no plan --his priority was to run his socialist agenda's through at record pace.

in Obie and Rauls own words--never waste a good crisis

I'm serious Bobby you better cover your ass on coming fuel/energy prices.

I've got Gumby covered on gas increases (mover shaker threat thread -"no brainer") with $7,500 profit since December--will give me free gas till he's out of office at projected ave of $3 a gal.--however I expect it to go much higher-- Expect to have utilties covered for same time frame by middle of next year.

--had considered just relying on hope and change-- :)
