Simple but this is what works for me....no :mj07:

Laying on your back, take a real deep breathe, as deep as you can, hold it for as long as ???, let your breathe out real slow.....Goodnight, we'll talk 2morrow.

you've never had insomnia, so you don't understand. I can't understand what it feels like to be shot, because I've never been shot before. Same difference.

Mully, I don't know if anybody has mentioned it or not, but here's what helps me. Ocean music; they have cds that play the ocean waves hitting the beach. Also, lay down and start reading a book. It's good for you to read, and it's the best thing in the world for making me sleepy.

Go to walmart and get some MELOTIN, I promise it works great. I have a very hard time getting to sleep and I've tried everything. Ambien from the doc, nyquil, all lot of other stuff. Raymonds correct on the sleepy time tea. It helps to relax you but even that doesn't put me to slepp.

If I take a Melotin I'm sleepy in 30 minutes. You can get it from most stores and its with all of the vitamins. Try it and you will see what I'm talking about.

On another note I was a real hard partier, so much of one that had I not stopped drinking I would wouldn't be here today....(no Madjacks :142smilie ). Knowing very well that I had a problem, I attended a AA meeting....1 meeting. I guess I never wanted to quit yet because I never went back. Still knew I had a problem....shit walking into a bar when the music's pumping....I ain't coming out until it's over. The last straw was when I ended up in jail with assault charges. Just three days before that a buddy of mine had approached me to tell/ask me to quit as I'm going to kill someone or be killed because of a fight I was in with 3 guys earlier that week. And I never looked for fights, I was always helping or trying to break them up...that one was because of this guy smashing his girlfriend in the face in front of me. Drinking or not, I would never allow that. That same week I had another beef and ended up behind bars......thought's of how bad my childhood was (never had one) because of my father's drinking and how my kid's will have to go thru that or not have a father...DONE. It was many years of partying and living like that, but once I had made my mind up I was done. I won't even have a chocolate if it has liquor in it....nothing since Jan 15/1982.....I would love to have one, but I'm too afraid of the consquences.

Good Luck and remember....deep breathe.

Kind of surprised you didn't say anything about getting some exercise in the picture Jake. If I remember, you run a bit.

agree with everything you said, I got a book on ancient cities with very cool pictures in it, and the history of each city - all the names are impossible to pronounce and it is very dry history, i read a page or two and im out

SLEEP 4 SURE

SLEEP 4 SURE

Try taking "Melatonin." It is the enzyme that your brain produces when you get tired. It can also be found naturally in certain plants. They extract the enzyme from the plants and you can find it in pill form in just about any pharmacy. It has no addicative properties and it has been shown to actually regulate sleeping cycles long-term.
