We were attacked and it shut us down.
Please try now and advise.
The load was over 164 (173+ at one point) with 1153 processes and over
1000 http clients
top - 12:22:03 up 73 days, 8:48, 1 user, load average: 164.33, 150.34,
90.06
It is hard to say if this was due to legitimate traffic, attacks or a
combination of both. The system did issue a possible attack/flood warning.

Half joking and half serious...Thunder draws a lot of traffic to the site and he's been swinging around his big play all week....I just assumed the downage was due to the flood looking for his pick.
That's exactly what it is. They hit us at our busiest time and the server couldn't handle it.
