Had it occur twice took change -cigs and gun both times and rx sunglasses I had for ten years on last one.
Have to take partial blame for leaving car unlocked.
I think motion light best bet but never take time to have them installed.

Believe worse part is --reality that you are not living in area as safe as you thought.

What do you have in your garage--its the size of a 2 bedroom apartment :)

You too with the gun in the car? Left unlocked at night, even? Not trying to give you a hard time, Wayne, but now you and the rickinjax guy have said the same thing. I think this sort of thing is why some people are in support of gun control.

It's laughable how flip people can be about how it should be legal to own a fully or semi-automatic assault weapon, but these things about leaving guns in the car overnight are so casually mentioned/done.

And then throwing in cigs, sunglasses and change in there with a gun? Like it's the same?

And then people bitch about people running crazy around the country with guns. Go figure.

I am a law abiding citizen and have a permit to carry and do so. I like to have protection against the piece of shit drug addict scum bags that rome this earth and will kill you for 10 dollars. It is my right. If you do not want that for you and your family that is your right and I do not think it is wrong you made that choice. Its your choice. But dont be all high and mighty and call me out because I have 2 pistiols in my truck.

Those pistols sitting in your truck overnight in your truck are protecting you, how?

From the the drug addicts that 'rome' your area?

Who gives a fuck what you do?

Jack leaves his door open and windows unlocked and after 30 years he has thirty dollars of change stolen and some stale gas and Hedgynow wants him to hire a team of security :mj07:

we had burglars go thru my neighborhood out here in nowhereville about 4 weeks ago. All the cars in the neighborhood that were parked outside got busted into.

I woke up one sunday morning and saw all the crap from my glovebox throw on my front seat. they got my wallet.
20 bucks, a cheap wallet, and all my plastic fantastic cards.

had them shut down and no use reported on them, so i was out 20 bucks.

neighbors got gps units swiped, stereos swiped, all kinds of stuff.

and low and behold.. now that the snow has melted here, ALL the stuff people had swiped is being found along the side of the roads and in other people's front yards. The kids that went around and busted in just dumped the stuff all over the neighborhood. I've had 4 different people show up at my front door with various parts of my wallet and its contents.

gps units were found last week in someone's backyard.

i tell you what.. focking kids these days. if yer gonna steal shit, at least sell it and make some damn money.

When I lived in maryland, some punks broke into my cars and stripped it damn near bare. Even took the damn ignition cylinder out of the steering column.
There was a second car break in incident not long after that one... which I'm pretty sure led to the end of a promising car burglary career.

Given that people have found all their stuff in my new neighborhood.. I'm still debating whether it's worth tracking the hooligans down.

I had my window busted out on my Truck Thursday night but nothing stolen. Had two pistols and numerous other stuff that could have been taken. They hit the whole neighborhood and stole alot down the street. Could not believe I did not hear the breaking glass. My truck has a passive alarm. I will be getting a better one. Damn I would like to catch them ipiece of shits in action. They would be sorry.
