Finally got my electric back since the ice storm hit
the 27th. My area looks like a war zone. I know
Kentucky was hit just as bad. Anyone else have
stories to tell. I remember standing out in the
garage at night listening to the trees and limbs
cracking and hitting the ground about every 5
seconds. Sounded like shotguns going off. Power
lines snapped everywhere. SixFive, you out there?
I don't think we have many on here from northern
Arkansas, but several from Kentucky. I was lucky, I
had a trip to New Orleans the 3-7 so I escaped for
a few days. No TV, Internet, hot water, heat,
lights suck but hard to complain when you go to
NO and hear what they went thru and are still
going thru. Anyway, thought I'd ask how some of
the others on here made out.
