methinks that Jack is considering hiring a "director of avatar distribution."

It probably started so simply. Jack was looking over the features of the new and improved bulletin board. Saw the avatars featured and thought "that would be cool." Never thought that

-the longhorns fans would want their own selection
-people would change the avatar for every season
-people like BobbyBlueChip would keep making idiotic posts so they could get the requisite 500 posts before football season so that he can get his own Notre Dame avatar
