Not at pickin college hoops. Was gonna wait until the Dudes of Summer start playing for real, but just gotta put up what IMO is the LAST bestest bet in college hoops for the season. Besides, my hoops (COLLEGE that is, NBA is a coin flip IMO) record sure as hell beats my baseball record. Anyway, that BB for today would be:

Michigan pk : Don't understand why the line moved the wrong way for this game - hell, compare the SOS and ESP. the 3pt. stats between these two teams. Plus, Monarchs can't handle a physical team - only one they played was Va. CW, see what happened? (Not sure if Colorado is the pushy type, doesn't matter though cause they were in a funk when OD played them anyway). Mich. just put away two teams that I believe would have no prob. with OD.
Think, for the more serious ($$) plays, steering clear of the Big Bawlroom (you know, the "Bracket Squad) cause of whats going on there and instead hit the NIT where things are normal in comparision makes sense. Not specifying UNTIS, you pick your own - lets just call this oner - Semi-Huge!

You See El A? +105: Been cashing all along with the Bruins, got a feeling they're gonna take it all. Stick with this crew that makes it's own luck. Units?... . bow bout calling this one a MEDIUM play?

Justa Comment
When are the linemakers gonna recognize what this George Mason team is doing? Gators MINUS 5?? Say wha?? Mason has just beaten Mich St., N.C., Wichita St. , and UCONN (twice in the same game, asfaras I'm concerned). I'm not posting this one as a PLAY cause I stay away from Gator games. Tookem twice this season, S.C. and Bama, and both times the motherjumpers lied down on the court. Where the hell is Elliot Spritzer when ya need him.

Good luck, y'awl.

Thanks for the nice welcome, Payne. I can't fault LSU, they're a together team and playing at their best at the right time. But, wasn't that Thomas that was having CONSISTANT cramping problems? And, I think there's a possibility that Big Baby is gonna run out of gas soon. Anyway, that's two more things I considered. Those Bruins can be eratic, but man when they turn it on - LOOK OUT!

Mich? Dang line moved another notch the wrong way (now +1). I got THREE paralys that will cash if Wolverines pull tomorrow's (er.. today's) game out. Had to get some insurance.

Good luck the rest of the way.

This Mich line and the feel of this move, reminds me of the Syr/Tx A&M game. The money is on Mich but the line has moved to make OD the chalk. Somethings up ???????

Sharp money on OD yesterday afternoon. BTW, same thing happened with SYR/TAM the day before, since you brought it up bryanz.

So much for line moves; game turned out to be pretty much of a romp. Great day even though I threw a little of the profits away on insurance (offset almost all of the insurance by taking a chance with Miich. straight up for the 1st half). Had to hedge a bit cause of the way O.D. was getting bet EVERY dang day leading up to the game. Like I wrote in my orig. post. - this one was the LAST bestest play for this season; so these are SMALL to MEDIUM plays - you pick the units:

Me/we already got UCLA +2 pending.

George Mason +6 : Already wrote a little bout this one. Even though this ridiculous line is holding up, it ain't gonna scare me. Thinkin the wise guys are saying "enough is enough". I ain't buying that mentality cause i'm saying, "Seeing is believing". Ya gotta respect what you saw in the final mimute of regulation AND THEN the overtime period vs. UConn, of all teams. Just too many pts. for the NOW team that keeps on truckin vs. foes with much bigger teeth. Expecting the Masonites (don't that sound better than "Patriots") to duck tape those Gators and then kick em in the ass.

Misc. Stuff

Based on what I saw - South Carolina - 2 1/2 (ya GOTTA buy a pt. and half cause this is the "Bawl Room Dancing" thing) were most impressive vs. the Cards while Mich's game was easy pickins. Wolverines will have to cool it with all them fouls and mistakes in this one to just have a chance. S.C. has knocked off heavier hitters compared to Mich. BUT, this is only a lean and it's gonna stay that way cause all types of shot stats favor Mich. by too much even though the competition was weaker. (Hmm.. sure glad I didn't think this way in the Super Bowl).

You mean the first SuperBowl where the losing team has more yds, more time of possession, created more turnovers and lost the game due to officiating? How did you know that all that stuff was going to happen for the losing team for the first time in forty years?Anybody who claims to have correctly capped that unlikely "chain of events" happening wasn't looking at anything I'm familiar with from a handicapping standpoint.

First, Uconn didn't have the heart GM did...they were lucky they escaped with the earlier games with victories after the effort they showed. But Florida? Florida is one of the only 4 left that has won most of its games with relative ease in the tourney thus far, with the exception of the G'town game. Going back through the SEC tourney and before, they are on a 10+ game winning streak...remember too, this is a team that started the season with an undefeated record for a while before trailing off a bit. Donovan will have this team focused, not that they need it. Noah has been playing better and better each game and will win the battles up front. You got to think Vegas is asking for GM $$ after just beating MSU, UNC, Wichita, and Uconn, and then giving them 4.5 points in the next game. I don't know, its either Florida or nothing for me.

Man, 460+ hits... .this is living! :)

Edludes - No, I meant the team with lesser stats that played some REAL teams, won the Super Bowl.

NCH - appreciate the details in your post. They ARE on some kinda roll, no doubt about that. Actually, I think Brewer is also an excellent player and due for a good game. Yes, they've beaten some good teams and plenty of mediocre ones too, but I can't find a Mich. St., a N.C., or a UCon among them. Guess I'm using the same reasoning that worked for the Mich/O.D. "matchup".
Good luck this weekend.

BTW, still have a gut feeling UCLA is gonna take it all.

You dont win by having more yards, more top, more turnovers. You win by scoring points. It's called red zone efficiency, whiny little monkey.

Zebbers is 10000000% on the money, the zebras had nothing to do with the outcome of the SB. That was the best officiated game I have ever seen. Red zone efficiency was the bottom line and thats the truth.
