Yep, I know I would refresh regularly looking for his plays. My MLB plays would win but his were on another level. He was good enough that at one point I contemplated asking him if I flew up would he walk me thru how he caps games. He didn't come in swinging his balls all around talking about how good he was, he just posted his plays and went on about his business.

Here's to you KC!

beat me to it lw - KC will be missed

Sad to hear this. Never met him, but truly a class act on here. Touched a lot of people in a positive way, and that is an indication of a life well lived.

rest in peace

I have no words....
Wayne and I spent many a day either at his golf course or the brew pub after he and his wife moved to coralville.
We lost touch after his health problems really limited his mobility. Tried my best to stay in touch via email to no avail.
The visitation is tomorrow afternoon and I am going to do my best to stop and pay my respects as I'll be in Iowa City for a friends get together.
I'm truly saddened by the news that Wayne has passed.
May he rest in peace.

KC Wolf will be remembered as one of the top 3 cappers ever at this site.
Many years ago I won money with his service. What a great guy.
One of the good ones has left us.

Reds, did you and KC ever get over to Ames to eat at the Silver Pit? I think that's the name of the BBQ joint!!
