welp......i did the barbecue and beer thing yesterday. exceeded my normal amount of brews and got plenty buzzed.

today i wake up and come to my computer to take care of my daily updates, etc, but my left eye is blurry as hell. i even emailed IE and told him i didn't know WTF was going on with my eye.

ok, so i shower and am combing my hair and the wife asks if my eye was any better. i told her no and it's driving me nuts. can't imagine what's wrong. she asks me if my glasses were dirty. yeah right! i can't see because my glasses are dirty (sarcastic).

so, i go to clean them anyway and guess what? i'm missing the lens for my left eye. no fuhking wonder!! now i'm wearing a different pair and everything is fine again.

i'm such a dope!!

last summer in balto with IE, IE's buddy and kosar, i fell asleep with my glasses on and when i woke up, they were all bent up and missing a lens.

I hate the dam things. Feal like they been on my face since I was 15. That's because they have. Knock them off my face once in the car becasue of a bee I was trying to keep from stinging me. Yup drivers window was down. Stopped the car they were still in one piece but in middle of road. Got out two get them. Two cars went bie. One car to go and of course he nailed them. Man I was hot. I tryed contacts, but my eyes would not handle them. MJ, thats a good one. Back when the beer went down easy for me. Many pairs of them dam things got repairs done on them.

Don't you just love getting drunk and doing stuff like that? I must because I do it pretty regularly! I woke up the other morning and this particular female that shared my covers with me has quite the sense of humor that I do! I was walking around with a bad hangover and was not really paying attention to what I was doing. I had on a pair of PJ bottoms and nothing else! I walked into the bedroom and was talking to her, she leans up and says "hey those pants look comfy!" Well I just look back and say yeah, I have 2 piar of them I just love em! Well like I said she has a pretty good sense of humor as well, what she really should have said was hey moron your dihk is hanging out of the hole in them. Well I walked around like this for a good while and never noticed it untill I went to the sink! Man that porcelin is cold! But yeah a dumb little hangover story always cheers me up! Thanks Jack!

Here's one for ya that happened at my brother's house this past weekend. A friend stayed the night and woke up in the middle of the night to take a wiz in what he thought was the restroom.

Ends up he's in the kitchen spraying down the cabinets and then instead of going back to lay down on the couch, he wraps himself up with the living room rug and dozes off.

True story.

I love it when others are just as stupid as I am! A few months ago, age caught up with me and I was forced to go from reading glasses (worn very occasionally) to progressive tri-focals. I asked for contact lenses for times when glasses just wouldn't do and was accomodated right at the appointment.

Since the glasses wouldn't be in for a week or so, I started wearing the contacts. After I'd been wearing them for about 4-5 days, I noticed that the left eye was just damned blurry. No amount of cleaning or drops would cut thru the haze. I called the optometrist's office and they suggested I "switch" eyes for the lenses. Duh!!!!!!! The prescriptions are very different and I'd had the strong one in the "good" eye. The relief once I switched them was amazing!

I sure wish I'd go gray so I wouldn't be so damned blonde!

I lost my eye glasses, I was looking all over for it in the house, and I went up to my mom, asking here, "Did you see my glasses," as i looked around for it frantically, and oddly, she looked at me and kind of smirked, but said she didn't know, so I was fustrated, looking all over the place, and then my mom was laughing and I said, how can you laugh, I need my glasses to see, and she goes, there's something by your eye, so I put my hand to my face and low and behold, my glasses was on my face!!!!!! I felt so stuuuuupid!!!! :look:
