In Chicago today.....

ya, I had a good time there last week...even stayed out you guys way...watched the MNF game at cool sports bar Jerseys in Hoffman Estates and then made calls all over that area in St Charles, Elgin {congrats on their award} Palatine, Arlington Heights, Naperville, Aurora, Schaumburg, Des Plaines, and then stayed downtown for 3 nights....but didnt see a single MadJacker the whole time :shrug:
had great call with the library in St Charles Tues morning...after I stayed at the Hilton on Monday night off I-80 there at Hoffman Estates and watched the game at Jerseys with about 300 rabid Bears fans and a few very unhappy Pack fans on the last play
ended up getting a room downtown at the Inn of Chicago on Hotwire for $69 a night...and it was one block off Michigan :0008
was not going to pay the $209 a night they wanted at the convention hotel but made a lot of sense when I got 3 nights for price of one and could walk to Navy Pier:shrug:

I've traveled everywhere this year meeting MJers. The two places I want to go next are Hays, kansas to go get arrested with Vinnie and Southern California to get molested with Shane. :toast:
plus I already knew that neither Bobby or Poon could meet me then, it is called good natured bantering...you know some people can do that without getting their feelings hurt :0074
