In Memory of Hokie Fan

With the recent passing away of our family member, Hokie Fan, a few people have expressed wishes to send a donation to his family.

If you want to send a donation make your check out to Keith McClanan Family and send it to me for forwarding to his famlily. I thought it would be better than post his family's address on a public forum.

A difficult situation, very sad. Even harder when you are able to put a face with the name, and realize how young he was, family, etc.

I really don't want to make this about me, but briefly I can say a lot of days I really don't care if I wake up tomorow or not. My worst fear is leaving my wife and kids with nobody to provide for them.

I'm sure a lot of guys feel that way, at least a little.

I say that in hope's that everyone who is thinking about sending even the smallest gift would go ahead and do it.

I know I would be eternally grateful to anyone who helped take care of my wife and kids if I weren't here anymore.

There are a lot of us here, all those small gifts WILL make a difference.

Read about Hokie fan last night...I remember way back he wrote about his condition and listed a whole bunch of things that were going wrong...he ended the long list with something like
"other then that I have a clean bill of health"..Didn't realize his age and thats so sad...madjck..send me the address...my prayers are with his family...I'm sure he was smiling up there with the Hokies winning the other nite.maybe he's sitting up there in the clouds talking b-ball with St peter....I'd like to think so...
