Increasing wifi signal for laptop..

I have and HP with Vista.. I need to increase the wifi signal. It has problems at times getting signal from work router and obtaining signals outside of work.. I have searched the internet and really there is a lot of hoopla.. ANyone have a suggestion or know of a good quality product. I do not think that I need much of a boost.

I am not aware of any device that can enhance your connectivity and trust me, I am continually searching for better options.

Have you tried two laptops together from the same spot?

Sometimes the signal strength is defective in laptops.....wouldn't hurt to check it out.

linksys 2.4 ghz 54 mbps is what is says on the box. I can get good signal in my whole house, and I have 2600 square feet. I can get good signal on my whole property too which is almost half an acre. I've been very pleased, and it's had much better performance than netqueer.
