I think the new rule change affects Lindros more than any other F's in the league because of his style of play. Tough to make Lindros change his style of play after what? 20 yrs?? I've got mixed feelings with the new changes, but I'm afraid that just like the changes in the recent years, as soon as the playoffs start, we're still not gonna see much penalties at all after the 2nd period.

The deck is shuffled. The Islanders have recalled forwards Trent Hunter, Eric Manlow and Mattias Weinhandl from Bridgeport of the AHL. Hunter is 7-6-13 in eight games with the Sound Tigers, Manlow is a team-leading 7-7-14 in 10 games and Weinhandl, even despite a slow start, is 3-8-11 in ten games. Weinhandl, looking to make his NHL debut, is on a six-game points streak, while Hunter has points in all eight games since his assignment from the Islanders to Bridgeport.

Where the newcomers play -- and who they may replace -- has yet to be determined and probably will not be made clear until gametime.
