Overall, I think the Spurs are a much better team and think that Duncan was hurting way more than he was letting on. Ginobli was unstoppable until the thigh bruise and that slowed him down a lot. He came up big in Game 7. Horry played pretty bad in Game 6, and could have been partly due to re-injuring his shoulder in Game 5. (Of course I really think that Horry just naturally prefers Game 7).

Not saying that the Pistons didn't have any injuries, but the Spurs just seemed to really dominate when healthy.

I will add that I gained a lot of respect for Popovich and Spurs in these playoffs. I knew going in that Pop was a good coach and that Duncan was good. I just loved the way they used Barry and Horry coming off the bench to play a lot of minutes and used Bowen on defense.
3 out of 7 titles is pretty damn good. 80's Celtics did 3 out of 6 I believe.

I was just comparing their accomplishment to a great Celtics era. I know the Bulls did a whole lot more.
Also, I am comparing what they accomplished, b/c I think the Celtics of the 80's would mop the floor with any team in the league right now. As would the Lakers of the 80's and the Bulls of the 90's. Much better teams than the watered-down squads of today.
But a nice accomplishment none the less.
