The aquaponics thing is very interesting to me. Can u incorporate the carp/koi into that if u transplant them?

Yea. I am going to start small with fish I won't eat. I will have an aquarium with some Koi fish from the pond and run it to a living wall in our sun room.

Once I start to figure it out a little I will move on to some edible fish.

He can grab a Filet of Fish at the drive thru he's putting in.

Chad, is the pond spring-fed? I would think that may have to be factored into your decision.

Since you have pump already set up why not make it a scenic area with a fountain included--or as some suggest a putting green/bunker with watering system already 75% complete.

I vote for keeping koi pond or if not, let me know how I can help giving large koi a new home. I have some room in my pond for sure.
