I have been messing around with this for almost 40 years and this week has more surprises (upsets) than any other. Conference play is right around the corner and coaches seem to focus their teams toward that. Thus .. quite a few get ambushed as they drop in on some of these "other" teams. Throw in finals with the holidays and these kids have trouble staying on task.
Seems to be a couple people getting brash and critical recently. I don't get it. This site has the best people AND most knowledgeable cappers to be found anywhere. Kinda sad to see this vein of frustration caused by a couple of people. They ain't getting diddly squat for Christmas.
I am not that smart so I don't muddle up the board with my game opinions. BUT, you have all helped me thru the years. For that, I thank you and wish all of you a Merry Christmas.........

A side note. Fran says he going to revise some people and things with the Hawkeyes. You might all want to wait for some progress before jumping on them. They get Ohio State to open conference play and could easily be 1-4 or 2-3 after 2 weeks. They looked pretty sad the other night at Wells Fargo. I love UNI and loved that game.
