Amazing how the U.S. continues to be one of the only countries ignoring these issues.

i have more faith in punxutawny phil than most of these politicized studies.......

Come on weasel, I thought you had learned something by now... like the other side of the "studies" are not politicized?? All these studies are supported by government money. It's just a matter of reality and being aware of what is actually happening with weather patterns. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Pop out of your bunker and look at the world.

I recently ran a conference for some of the top chemists from around the world (33 countries represented). It was really interesting to hear their views of global warming. Basically, we are screwed.

This happened a few days ago...Let's face it, it is freaking hot, everywhere!!

Its a hoax :sadwave:

Don't you ever think that you are George Costanza? Okay maybe you are a little bigger and have less luck with the ladies, but you have to admit that your life is a total mess. Everything you do is wrong. Maybe a change is in order?

My favorite part is the paragraph that talks about how the initial stages of climate change will cause some ice in the arctic to melt, which will in turn allow us to access oil currently trapped below ice, which will in turn fuel the next stage of climate change!

Burning fossil fuel might not be the only thing causing climate change, but damn if we aren't short sighted creatures.

Tell your kids not to have kids, cause it's gonna get real hot round here.

It is gonna get ugly. The next 50 years are going to be quite a ride.

These far right backwards bible thumping assholes have set this country back a hundred years with their ridiculous backward stances on everything. We use to be first in everything now the only thing we are first in is to have just enuf voters to keep us from being first in anything. Stem cell, climate change, gun control, educations. You name it. Oh wait we are first in military spending. We spend as much as everyone combined :0074

I've said this a thousand times.

When I was a kid growing up in the Baltimore area, the lakes were frozen from mid December, or earlier, until mid March. ALLLL winter you could ice skake, play hockey, and ice fish. ALL WINTER!

Now the lakes don't get frozen enough to ice skate at all. EVER!

I'm talking back in the 60's and 70's.

Same here, Jack. They haven't made an attempt to flood rinks up here in 5 years or so. Back in the 70's, we skated well before Christmas, and well into March. Always had snow for deer hunting in November, too. Snow has been a rare treat for hunters up here in the last 15 years.

I have gotten more rounds of golf in this year than any previous. Started in EARLY March, when we had a solid week of 80* days. That, on top of finishing last year as late as we ever have. (In December)

I used to always think it was bullshit, just like most everyone else. When someone shows me that we have had 327 consecutive months where the Earth's temperature has been above the norm of the 20th century.........You have my attention.

Oh, 327 months dates back to April of 1985, if anyone cares.

yes,it`s all political......theres climate change...it`s constantly in a state of flux....but nobody knows whether there is succh a thing as agw....nobody knows man`s impact ct on the climate(and anybody that says they do is about as reliable as vince the sham-wow guy).....

first it was the ozone layer...then global cooling...now global warming...it`s all just a means to an end for someone`s agenda....

i always laughed at al gore sitting in his mansion using all that energy and then buying "carbon credits" to offest his sins....

it`s all agenda driven...and guys like gore are making a fortune...
