big investment you made.

I would bite the bullett and get 2/// 5 gal. easy pour cans from homedepot.

use the good stuff and assure the warranty ..

same thing with the oil change..

spend the extra 20 bucks over the course of a couple years on their recommended oil.

document all the maintance in a spiral notebook in the barn somewhere..or in the manual if a page allotted.

in the long run you will be glad you did it that way..

if ya got a pickup and I assume you do you can keep a 5 gal. can bungeed in the truck bed and fill it up on the visit nearby the real gas joint.

lotta ways to cut some corners but a little hestiant to recommend them considering the top of the line machine ya bought.

ya might ask them about what if any maintance you have to do to the valves after the first 50 hours or so..

w/my Husk I will notice a spit after about 50 hours or so and will take it in for the adjustment..

did the same thing w/the previous 3 I owned..

Best of luck to you both..

I hope you have carved out a little piece of heaven..

as always please don't hestate the ask if there is anything I might be of help with..

Thanks Old School

I will take all that advice. Wife started the maint stuff already as it comes with a book to keep track of stuff. I got the maint plan with it and they will do the first inspection at 20 hrs for free.

I got two pickups so no problem and I will go ahead and find a station that has no ethenol. Kinda funny the guy didnt know a close one who sold me the mower.

Think for now I will just go 5 gallons at a time.

I got three trailers I use for work, but they are crammed with welders, toolboxs, generators, and all that

I guess I will invest in a mower trailer in the near future.

wife went around the house and caught this picture at 1030 AM.

The property borders a old game preserve that has been there for many many years.

ordered the five gallon gas can from amazon that is easy pour. Home Depot only had the new kind that you have to push in to pour . I hate that shit.

Found a gas station without ethenol within five miles so looks like I am going that route.

Think I will go out a mow a few acres now.

not everything is peaches and cream at the new house. It was a foreclosure and really a huge house for us. It needed work inside and there has been a constant stream of contractors for the past two months. New porcelein floor in the kitchen done by a mexicano who was very reasonable. That floor is hard as nails and just beautiful Alot of kitchen and bathrooms upgraded mostly. Wife has overseen it all while I am working and I got to hand it to her she has evey made contractors wear them white bootys so they dont get her carpet dirty going in and out. haha

We had a termite inspection and the pest company drilled into a water line in the master closet.

Before the water was turned off it had caused alot of damage to carpet, sheetrock, vanity, tiles.

Had to hire a restoral company to come in and dry everything out.

Now is a fight with insurance co as they do not pay what is fair in a situation like this. I could get a lawyer and sue the pest co but I have about had my fill with lawyers for awhile.

We closed off some of the rooms because we just dont go in them very often.

thank God I am a country boy

all things in due time
