Biased?

Biased?

Well, maybe a little...

But I do feel WI does not get the respect a 1 loss team should.... they could beat a lot of those 1 loss teams, and their only loss was on the road at Michigan early in the season.

That's where the BCS falls apart... if you don't start the season high in the polls, you really have no chance to play for the national championship - even if you play in a power conference like the BIG 10....

Rutgers problem is double - they weren't ranked to start the year AND play in a 2nd tier conference (yes, I know it is a BCS conference, but do you really think those teams could compete in the SEC, Big 10 or Big 12? I'm guessing all 3 big east teams would be middle of the conference teams in any of those conferences)

"Ferentz's Stellar Record"

"Ferentz's Stellar Record"

He is 58-40 for his career... which is less than 6-4 per year....

I guess I don't see that as stellar.....

I agree that Wisci is a better team than they are getting credit for. I also think Bilema will have some success in the B10. However, to proclaim him a better coach than Ferentz at this point in his career is very premature. I have a great deal of respect for Ferentz and what he's done at Iowa, despite the tough year in 2006.

I'll agree

I'll agree

his 1st 2 years were tough......

But remember, UW was supposed to be bad this year - not ranked nationally, and picked for 6th in the Big 10...

I think Bielema has done a heck of a job, no matter how this game turns out...

This is skewed by the 1-10 and 3-9 rebuilding years he had to endure after taking over a god awful group of players in 1999. 54-21 since then. Not too shabby.
