Everyone and their dog on every single forum that I've checked is taking the Pats tonight and the points. Personally, I don't get it. I still believe the Steelers were the better team LAST YEAR. . . but obviously not in the single game these two teams played. Also, what ever happened to fading the Super Bowl champs??? Thought there was always value in this simple little system especially the first few weeks into the new season.

Anyways, I may just sit back and relax or take the under which I feel holds the most value. Just don't understand why "everyone" in all of these gambling forums are on the Pats tonight.

I HAVE TO SAY THERE IS DEFINITELY A LEGITIMATE POINT TO ASK WHY NE IS GETTING POINTS IN THIS GAME...MAYBE THEY THINK SINCE EVERYONE GOT BURNT BY THEM LAST YEAR THAT EVERYONE WILL JUMP ON THIS LINE..

MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH THAT IS WHY DID THE GAME OPEN UP AT A PICK AND IS NOW PITT MINUS 3 OR 2.5...THE QUESTION BECOMES IS THAT BECAUSE MONEY IS BEING LAID ON PITT OR THE BOOKS ARE GETTING NE MONEY AND CONTINUE TO BAIT????

Yes, this line is tough to crack. I can't decide what to make of it. So I went with the best value and took the ML on NE as a home dog. Also the FH +1, as NE has been dynamite in FH's.

But I hear ya, this is a toughy and if NE was playing someone else and nt getting points, Id probably fade away.

One more thing - not everybody is on NE. PIT in the #5 pick in the Hiton contest, and the #1 (Cin) and 2 (Arz) lost.

Nickelback, these lines are made on public perception. The public feels that the Pats were lucky to win the super bowl .Have heard them labled as the weakest SB champ ever.Pitt is a public favorite so I feel this is why Pitt is the favorite

I am going to go against all the touts and everyone on every forum also and take Pitt. -2 1/2. Good luck to all on Pitt. I am going to watch "THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO ROUND AND ROUND" I do think the Pats are good and more disciplined but this is week 1 and all teams are a little undisciplined. Hailmary,I'm a Bears fan also. Good 4th Qtr. sunday. Looks like this might be another year like last year, lots of photo finishes.

I hope it is like last year with better results though. I was really pissed that we didn't go for Bledsoe in the offseason. I think we are a QB away from the SB! I love our recievers and would put them up against any in the NFL. I have been a die hard Bears fan my whole life. I had club level tickets to the Panthers game yesterday and stayed home to watch the Bears instead and it was well worth it. Only Panthers games I will go to is when the Bears are playing at a different time. Game was a nail biter yesterday. We need work on our Corners also. I took the Bears for one unit but told all my friends to take the Vikes +4 1/2 or +5 but I have to take them no matter what.
